All Good Except for One Thing I recently traded in my 2010 Hyundai Elantra to lease a 2016 Elantra GT. Johnny helped me take advantage of the "equity" in my 2010 to make the lease affordable and also get a sizable check. I could have gotten more for my car if I sold it independently but decided I didn't want the hassle -- and I would not have been eligible to receive a refund of the extended warranty I purchased when I bought the car. I am satisfied with the deal I made. I love the look and feel of the new Elantra GT. I had my pick of color choices right there on the lot, which made me happy. And the car is loaded with features. It is very solid and handles well. I like driving it so much I signed up to be an Uber driver in my spare time. Anyway... I like the Service Department very much -- they are honest, never try to sell me service I don't need. Lube and oil changes are very reasonably priced -- as low or lower than going to Jiffy or one of the other lube shops who always try to sell you service you don't need. There is definitely a benefit to having all your service records in one place. However, I did find that when the new car was prepped for me they did not do a thorough job removing all the stickers and protective film from the windows and the interior. My only issue is with the Finance Department. I am still due the refund on the extended warranty I had on the 2010 model. I realize the check does not come directly from the dealer, but I expect them to stay on this and get my check. The follow-up has not been good on this. It's been nearly three months since I sold them my 2010. As I stated above, I could have gotten more money for my car had I sold it myself and this was one of the reasons I decided to sell it back to the dealer. I do expect this issue will be resolved. This is the only reason they did not get a 5-star rating. More
