This was our first used car buying experience. We were looking for my daughter's first car and had passed by Harbro Auto in Webster. We saw a car that looked interesting so we went online to Harbro's web looking for my daughter's first car and had passed by Harbro Auto in Webster. I filled out an online request showing exactly what kind of car we were looking including year, make, model, color, etc. That very day I received an email response and a call from Lorraine Maher saying she had a car that met most of our requirements. Unfortunately we weren't exactly ready to buy yet ( I had no idea I'd get that quick of a response). I told Lorraine our time frame and she said she'd continue to look for the car we wanted. She got back to me a few times with different cars but we still weren't quite ready. A few weeks later she dropped me an email saying she thought she had the car we'd been looking for and all our requirements seemed to match up. My daughter and I went down there that day and absolutely loved the vehicle. We took it for a test drive and put a deposit on it right away. Lorraine was so helpful throught the whole process from loan options to extended warrantee options to getting everything set up with the registry. They got the car ready to take home in only a few days!! Tim was there when we went to pick it up and he was also wonderful. After checking out Dealer Rater, I decided to email Harbro Auto the exact car I was looking for since they appeared to be the most reputable dealer on here. I live an hour from the dealership, but I wanted to make sure I dealt with someone I could trust. Tim, one of the owners, called me back the same day to find out more details, noting my price range and specifications. He spent a good chunk of time answering all of my questions about the process. They didn't have a Honda Odyssey on the lot, but he would try to get me one. He checked in with me every other day about his progress (and my progress, as I was looking on my own too). After a lot of searching on both our parts, it appeared I was only going to get the mileage and year I wanted if I bought from a private owner. So Tim actually emailed me some links to private listings that were a good fit for me! He didn't benefit one penny from this. I ended up getting another private sale that he encouraged me to buy, as I wouldn't find a better deal. And I believe he's right. So I didn't buy a car from Harbro, but I can't say enough good things about Tim. if the employees are anything like Tim, they treat everyone right, whether or not they end up being a customer. More

I have purchased our last three vehicles there. The staff - Kent, Mike, Tony and Dave are wonderful people. Mike was very patient and found what we were looking for in our price range. He was always attentive and really cared that we were happy with our purchase. I can't say enough about the service guys there...what a crew! They have taken care of all of the "gliches" that our cars had, which was few, however it is great having the piece of mind that these guys do care and take pride in their work. The customer service was excellent from the second I asked the first question about the vehicle that I was interested in ( that's right...I wasn't approached and hasseled like all of the other dealerships) Tim went above and beyond what I had ever experienced before to make sure that I was completely satisfied with the vehicle. He made it clear to me that if they didn't have the vehicle, they would get it. The quality of the vehicles that Harbro has available on their lots are incomparable to what I have seen in my 10 + years of purchasing new and used vehicles throughout Massachusetts. I have already recommended this dealership to several of my friends and family members only two days after I purchased the vehicle. I am that extremely confident in their dedicated service to me as a customer and the care of my vehicle.
