I had an emergency with my car. I was driving on the I-294 tollroad late Sunday night when a warning light came on my dashboard that a tire pressure gauge was malfunctioning. That I was driving on the I-294 tollroad late Sunday night when a warning light came on my dashboard that a tire pressure gauge was malfunctioning. That perplexed me because I had just had my car serviced only days before and everything checked out satisfactorily. I managed to get home without incident and the next day, Monday, the warning was no longer displayed. On Tuesday, however, a different warning came on saying that now there was low tire pressure and NOT merely a problem with a gauge. I quickly called the Quick Lane Service Department to see what ai should do about the problem since I had been there within a week's time and this problem should have been found on the routine inspection. The person on the phone told me to bring the car right in and even gave me suggestions for how to be safe when driving in traffic with a car with potential break down possibility. All the people working in and around the shop were most helpful to me throughout my whole experience there. As it turned out, I had a nail in my tire and I needed to make several decisions about the outcome of what to do to solve the very tricky problem of having a big nail in a bad place on a tire that was part of a set of rather old tires.
