We showed up early for our 7 am drop off for an oil change & they opened the door and didn't just stare at us because we got there at 6:45 and make us wait till 7 like everywhere else. Recently took my car in due to the check engine light being on and already knowing the code that it was pulling. Had my local/small town mechanic recommend me to take the vehicle to a dealership since he being on and already knowing the code that it was pulling. Had my local/small town mechanic recommend me to take the vehicle to a dealership since he felt they could handle the issue better. So begrudgingly I took it to Hawk Ford since they work on Lincoln cars. Bringing the paperwork with me that my mechanic had printed was pointless since they didn't even bother to look at it. They fixed "what they thought" was the issue in around 30 minutes with an oil change and charged $315 for just the labor to fix this "issue". Steve Staub said that the check engine light would stay off and the problem was now fixed. I would have been ok with the cost if the actual problem was fixed, but after driving the car for 10 miles the check engine light came back on. I called Steve and now he recommends to bring the car back in to rescan and get the new code that the check engine light was pulling. It was the code that I initially went in for, Steve now feels that it is a catalytic converter issue, but didn't tell me which one. I had the left side catalytic converter replaced 2 years ago at another Ford/Lincoln dealership and after I found out which side was replaced they said it's the right side catalytic converter (not telling me this till after they knew the left was replaced). They are now recommending that I should come in and get that replaced and they will discount the other service that was done. I'm having a hard time trusting anything that really is said with the service team. Just a typical dealership, overpriced and incompetent. More

Since purchasing my 2017 Ford Escape I always bring it to Hawk for the oil changes, etc. i have never had a bad experience. BTW the young lady who helped me at Wuick Lane was excellent! Hawk Ford always does a superior job IMO. Drove in Saturday, tires installed, PM service done, all in less than 2 hours. The staff is great and I was even offered lunch. I'll be back!
