After dropping off the car for service, Greg verified that we had taken out the extra tire coverage. In other words, the service to either fix or replace the tire was at no charge. The tire could not be patched and therefore Hawthorne Chevrolet replaced the tire that had only 3,500 miles. Besides the quick turnaround, I had enough time to personally thank "our" salesman, JR Gray for offering the extended tire protection at the point of sale last July. More

The dealership was supposed to have our car for a few days but it took over 2 weeks. We own a suburban and have 4 children- we needed a loaner that could accommodate our family which the dealer could not days but it took over 2 weeks. We own a suburban and have 4 children- we needed a loaner that could accommodate our family which the dealer could not provide. Which then forced us to change plans for a ski trip. In fact we had to wait 2 weeks for a loaner and initially told we could not have one because our lease was up- a few weeks earlier. However, the dealership was never able to provide a loaner during service of our 4 year lease. When the car was returns not all of the requested service was performed, although we paid for it. We requested the TVs be repaired, they were not. The first night the car was home it leaked some type of fluid all over our driveway, as they did not properly put the car back together. The sensors beeped the entire time we drove saying they hood was open. We were unable to lock the car without setting off the alarm. We brought the car back to the dealer, under the impression the second set of repairs would take an hour. Hours later they called and said they cannot fix it, as they need the car longer. Again, unable to provide a loaner vehicle. They returned the car back to us disabling all sensors and said in maybe 1-2 weeks we could get a loaner and the proper repairs could be made. More
