This is a very condensed version of what happened. Travelled from Tampa to Clermont to see a car (4 hour round trip), very disappointed with the salesperson, so much so that I asked her if I could sp Travelled from Tampa to Clermont to see a car (4 hour round trip), very disappointed with the salesperson, so much so that I asked her if I could speak with somebody else as we definitely weren't getting on very well. She went into an office populated with three or four guys, I have no idea what she was saying to them as she was in there for 3-4 minutes and all of them kept on looking at me as she was talking to them. One of the guys came out, introduced himself as one of the sales managers and proceeded to disingenuously tell me that there was somebody else who was already purchasing the vehicle, (which obviously there wasn't, he just wanted to get rid of me). It's such a shame that I have to write this review as overall most reviews seem to be positive, normally I wouldn't waste my time with this, however, this was a complete waste of MY time and money for gas. If anybody wants to hear the full story from the dealership, I'm more than willing to document the whole thing for you, as obviously whoever the sales manager was that I spoke to, wasn't interested in my business and took the side of the salesperson, without knowing the facts. Too bad, I liked the car and would have bought it :) More

I've been buying cars since the early 80's and on Ebay nationwide since the early 90's. Last week (7/8/2022), I found a pristine, 2018 Subaru Forester Touring XT 2.0 turbo at this dealership. I also h nationwide since the early 90's. Last week (7/8/2022), I found a pristine, 2018 Subaru Forester Touring XT 2.0 turbo at this dealership. I also had a deposit down on a brand new 2022 Subaru Forester Wilderness at my local Subaru dealership. I decided to take the 3 hour drive from home to see the 2018 at Headquarter Mazda. I worked with Tony R., Asael A. and Jesus. The experience was such, that I ultimately canceled the purchase of the new 2022 unit, bought the 2018 and invited the guys to stay at the farm in the Dominican Republic as a thank you and to continue new-found friendships. I believe that with the advent of selling formats like Tesla/Carvana/Carmax and soon-to-follow Ford, the traditional hard line tactics will [thankfully] die off. I think Headquarter Mazda is headed in the right direction with a customer service first policy. The future of car buying is here, and only those that adapt will survive!
