Perfect First Car Buying Experience I went in with the full intention of “ just looking.” I was nervous with this being the first time I have ever bought a car on my own, but I left driv I went in with the full intention of “ just looking.” I was nervous with this being the first time I have ever bought a car on my own, but I left driving off in a new car and feeling 100% satisfied with my experience. Everyone at the dealership I came in contact with was so friendly and helpful and I never felt pressured into getting anything extra I didn’t want or need. I truly felt that Clifford was not soley concerned with making the sale, but with making sure I ended up with the car I wanted! Where is the no star option? No follow up, no communication. Let me just say that our 2012 Jeep Liberty started showing signs that the transmission may be going out. Concerned about what the problem might be, my husband called a week ago and scheduled an appointment Friday, December 28th 2018at 7:15 a.m. (We share this Jeep as it is our only vehicle). I dropped my husband at work at 5 a.m. Thursday, December 27th approximately at 7:30 a.m., the Jeep was not shifting and wouldn't safely shift past 3rd gear. So I called ahead and asked Shirley if I could bring it in now. She said yes and I drove it in and stayed while Hebert's staff processed it in. I was told that since it was a day early, they would "see if they could work it in". Nick was handling it at this point. So the courtesy driver dropped me off at our home on Barksdale Air Force Base Thursday morning. I immediately called and arranged a rental service to pick up my husband from work and help him rent a car. Thursday night, no word on whether the Jeep had been looked at. Friday, my husband asked me to take care and coordinate whatever was recommended. I explained to the staff that my husband would be at work Friday and that I needed them to call me in order to not disturb him at his job. However, they ignored this and called his cell once and did not leave a message. My husband and I both spoke to a technician at different times yesterday and the consensus from Hebert's was "we don't know" what is wrong with it. Nick went home sick Thursday, I can't remember the other guy who was covering for him yesterday, but he asked me "are you sure your having problem?" We asked the tech to please just change the transmission filter and fluid. Well today when my husband called, they hadn't worked on it. So I got on the phone and asked Shirley some questions leading to a man saying his name is Chuck and is the service supervisor to tell me "you need a transmission for your little Jeep." II said how much? $4497.34 for a vehicle worth around $7000 according to Kelley Blue Blook.Se asked for a corporate number since this man complained also that "we called but didn't get an answer". They did not listen and called my husband at the cell phone while he was on the job at a VA call center. Shirley said they don't have corporate so I asked for Mr. Hebert out of third day of getting the run around. They hung up on me. I am disappointed as we are purchasing a vehicle this year. It won't be at this dealership. More
