It's been many years since I've purchased a car from a dealer. From the beginning of the online application process, Jonathan was very open and honest about the ability of me getting financing. I had very low scores, so low, I didn't even want to know them myself. He never came across as judgmental or condescending because of my poor credit history. I never felt like he was doing me a favor by helping me buy a car, just the opposite. I also like the fact that I never felt pressured or attacked by my sales representative, Mack Foster. He was calm and cool when we selected my vehicle. During the final approval process, I was constantly kept up to date on the status of where my loan process was and even told that everything was at a "green" light approval wise. I wasn't waiting around to be told, "sorry, there's nothing we can do for you or you'll have to make another car selection of lesser value". I was waiting for those comments but they never happened. I was finally called into the "glass room", the finance department. This is where I have always dreaded going because I always felt chewed up in the end, very regretful for every buying a car. But not here, the finance department was excellent with doing everything possible to make my deal work. The price was lowered without me fighting for it, my trade in was higher than blue book value and I never had to haggle or debate over simple things. It was a very pleasant experience. I'm now zooming around town in a very affordable, classy Mazda 6 sedan! Thank you to the entire staff at John Hine Mazda who helped me through this experience.
