Damaged my vehicle during routine oil change On 6/27 I brought my car in for a scheduled oil change. My entire grill was scratched when the mechanic was attempting to lift the hood. I was told I had to speak to Maria the service manager who was not available about this issue . I continually called Maria who never returned my calls. On 6/29, I finally had to show back up in person to the dealership and was told I needed to make an appointment to bring back the vehicle to be fixed. No apologies for my inconvenience or acknowledgement that an error was made by Ford. The earliest appointment slot they had was 7/6 and that it could take a week to fix. I received a loaner car in the interim but it was not an F150 which is what I have but a tiny Ford Fusion. I'm a construction worker hauling tools back and forth every day. This was a nightmare! When I picked up my vehicle after the repair was made on 7/10, I found my entire passenger side seats soaked due to the window being left open while sitting in the lot during tropical storm Fay. Maria the service manager's response was "oh well I see how this keeps snow balling for you and I don't want to argue. I'll ask the guys to dry it off and we'll find out who it was" They used a dirty pre-used towel and just wiped down my mats leaving my seats soaked to the bone. I'm pretty sure this is dangerous especially during a time where COVID precautions need to be taken. Again no apologies or any form of compensation for having to come to this service department 4 times in a 2 week time period all for errors made on Ford's part. Maria the service manager lacks professionalism, communication skills nor holds her department for any kind of accountability. She made me feel like a devalued customer and a nuisance she wanted to just go away. I bought my truck from Ford and even financed with them. I love my vehicle and planned to buy another model in the near future but based on Maria and this service department experience, I will take my business elsewhere. More
