After doing some online research, I printed the pertinent information and drove to Hendrick Toyota of Apex. I told the sales manager that I would like a salesman who was willing to not play games and waste m information and drove to Hendrick Toyota of Apex. I gave the sales manager the paperwork for the two trucks that I wanted to drive, including the VIN numbers. I had a specific, rigid list of specifications. I also had a very limited timeline. He suggested a salesman, the problem was that the salesman was tied up in a sales meeting. I waited patiently till the salesman was free. When I met the salesman,Darrin Locking, I gave him the paperwork on the two vehicles that I wanted to test drive. Shortly thereafter, he informed me that the diesel had just been pulled due to someone leaving a deposit. My focus was primarily to buy the diesel. The other truck that was left was very nice and at a reasonable price, but it lacked the various safety packages that I required. I was somewhat disappointed that the two vehicles that I came over to look at were not pulled from the lot as soon as I informed them of the two vehicles that I was interested in. I had specifications and packages that I required. I had specifications and a price on another turbo diesel that included all of the safety packages that I required. That left my salesman, Darrin Locking, with not much product to work with. Darrin was very professional, exceptionally accommodating, very knowledgeable, and very helpful. He did everything that he could, with the safety specifications and the time limitations that I had placed upon myself. Couldn’t ask for a better experience with my sales person, Darrin . I left a little disappointed with the dealership, I incorrectly assumed that someone would have thought to pull the two vehicles off the lot that I was interested in after I gave them the VIN numbers. I was very pleased and very satisfied with the efforts that Darrin put in to get me in a vehicle at that time. If I were to go back to Hendrick Toyota of Apex, I would certainly ask for Darrin again. I would certainly direct my friends to Darrin if asked for a recommendation. More

Since buying a vehicle is never a quick process, it meant a lot that while we waited he kept us taken care of with peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, water, Gatorade Zero, and peanut butter bars, which honestly made the long day much easier.
