This type of service goes a long way and is very appreciated. With it being a holiday I would have been stuck til Tuesday and would have had to take off work as well. I own a Toyota Camry and the battery died this morning. I called the service department and was transferred to parts. I do not know the name of the man I spoke with but I stated I had a battery needing replaced and that I had an 84 month battery. I was asking what battery fit my car and the price. I said it was weird that it was missing the date on the battery so I had to pull up the sticker to see the date of 12/21. He provided me part number for battery and price. I then asked about the 84 month warranty that comes with this battery and how does this work. He said that based on the date I could either get a battery for 50% off and the date of the warranty would carry over to the new battery or I could purchase a new one. I had my son in law take the battery to them to get the new battery. I was shocked at how rude the parts representative, Butch was. When he tried to see if I was in the system and I am not, he told my son in law that I had lied to him about this (which we never even had this conversation and he never asked where I got my battery). I also had no idea that that even mattered as its a warranty on the battery itself. I am not part of the family program where I get a free battery replacement which would require you to go to that specific dealer. He went on to say things like I know what kind of person you are you are the kind that wants something for nothing, and said I don't have time to deal with this xxxx so I will just give it to you anyways. Absolutely rude , cussing at a customer. He made my son in law very uncomfortable to say the least. My son in law read off the part number that I was given and rec'd the battery. He asked him if this was the correct battery and Butch said yes. When I saw the battery its a different battery then what he said is for my car and different price altogether. and he did not give 50 % off which is the battery warranty. So now I am without a car and tomorrow is Sunday and I will not have a car then. The battery he gave us is the wrong battery and is not the battery part number that he was given. I also don't live close to the dealer, its a half hour or more away. How does a company allow and employ someone that treats customers as such. Also there was another man working and he just sat there like this was normal way of treating their customers. I had such a good experience at the GMC Hendrick so this was a shock. More

Service advisor is no good. I have a coupon 15% from Hendrick Toyota and he refused to apply coupon. So I am not happy. Next time I don’t go there.
