Poor Service I bought a 2013 Kia Optima at Hendrick Toyota Apex, NC. I received very poor service. I could not get a hold of my Sales Specialist Terrell Tatem when I bought a 2013 Kia Optima at Hendrick Toyota Apex, NC. I received very poor service. I could not get a hold of my Sales Specialist Terrell Tatem when I tried to call him. He did not respond an e-mail about a previous issue or return calls or voice mail message about the subject issue. On 02/01/18, I placed a $1,000 down payment on the 2013 Kia Optima. Payment was made from my electronic debit card since I did not have my check book at the time of sale. I was told that this amount would be refunded to my checking account when Hendrick received total payment of $15,068.50. On 02/06/18, I picked up the car and wrote Hendrick a check for $15068.50 (total payment). This check was cashed and paid by my bank on 02/08/17. On 2/12/18, I checked my electronic checking account, and the $1000.00 down payment was not returned to my checking account, nor had I received a check by mail for $1,000. I called my Sales Specialist Terrell Tatem's phone, left a message on his voice mail and he did not return my call. On 02/12/18, I called Finance Specialist Frank and left a message on his voicemail. Frank returned my voicemail call on 02/13/18. He told me he could not return the electronic debit to my account. He suggested that I stop by the dealership and pick up the check for $1,000.00. I told Frank I did not want to drive 30 min to come to the dealership; after all, I was originally told the money would be returned to my checking account. The dealership is 30 min. away from my house and It would be an inconvenience for me to drive that far. He stated that he would mail me the check. On 02/21/18, the check payment for $1,000.00 did not arrive in my mailbox at my address. On 02/21/18, I telephoned Manager Ash and left a message on his voice mail concerning this matter. He did not return my phone call and on 02/22/18 I drove to the Hendrick Toyota Dealership. The Hendrick Toyota management told me the check was mailed and when I would go home the check would be in my mail box. The check did not arrive in the mail on 02/22/18. Currently I have not received a check that should take 2 days to arrive after mailing. 1. I should not have been told an untrue statement that the $1,000 down payment debit would be returned electronically to my account when a check for the full car price was rendered. I was later told this electronic transaction was not possible. 2. A better management system needs to be in place for refunding money on an over payment or down payment. I should have been notified that a check was being sent to my address. This should have been done when my full payment check was cashed and cleared the bank. 3. Cannot contact sales specialist associated with sale or a manager by phone. Extremely poor customer service and lack of concern for customer. Sales Specialist and Finance Specialist should have automatically followed up with reimbursement after total payment check was cashed by Hendrick. How much money is Hendrick losing when phone calls are not answered or returned. 4. I will NEVER consider buying another car from Hendrick or even consider having my car serviced by Hendrick. More

Brian Flick is my service representative and he has done a very good job of keeping me posted of the status of my vehicle and being considerate of my time. My only real complaint is I feel some of the additional items I need for the car (air filters, wipers and tires) seem to be priced too high. I'd like to give all my car care needs to this service group but sometimes it's just too expensive. Overall good service by the mechanics, comfortable environment for waiting and a very considerate customer service staff. Nice job! More
Good Service for our 11 Year old Prius I took my 2006 Prius in for an oil change. Because I had recently purchased tires at the dealership for my car, the tire rotation was free. I appreciate the multipoint inspection which is free. Also the fact that they keep track of issues which should be watched and/or fixed. Danielle is a very good service person. Engine light issue & had lots of other needed work completed I called earlier that day when I noticed the check engine light came on and I was worried about the vehicle, since it was less than 2 years old. I made an emergency appointment for that afternoon. I was promptly greeted and explained my situation. The service technician came out to explain the issue and had some other suggested work that probably should be done soon. He said that they could do the additional tire work that day if I was willing to wait and his suggestion saved me another trip to the dealership! Thank you for looking out for me! More
