I was very unsatisfied by prior dealer service elsewhere in the Durham area. As we recently moved to Chatham county, I decided to try Hendricks Toyota Apex for a recall on our hybrid Highlander. I was given in the Durham area. As we recently moved to Chatham county, I decided to try Hendricks Toyota Apex for a recall on our hybrid Highlander. I was given an appointment for service. Danielle met me when I drove in and completed all the paperwork. I was given a loaner Highlander for the day which turned out to be a no charge experience. The recall work was done in the promised time frame and our vehicle was returned to us vacuumed and newly washed. It's a 5 star experience. I have already recommended Hendricks Toyota Apex to friends with a Toyota hybrid. More
Hendricks Toyota of Apex continues to provide our 2008 Highlander with exceptional service. On this visit, our car was scheduled for an oil change, etc and ended up with a rotten belt and the housing aro Highlander with exceptional service. On this visit, our car was scheduled for an oil change, etc and ended up with a rotten belt and the housing around the brakes being the culprit for the clicking noise I had heard when I came to a stop. When these two additional items were discovered, as always, Danielle came to the waiting room to find me, explained what they were, why replacing them was important and, on this service visit, there really wasn't any wiggle room about replacing them, it was just a question of when! I continue to feel comfortable with the respectful manner that she treats me, the excellent service that the Service Department provides me and the fast, friendly service I receive from the ladies who receive my calls. More

I went in to get rid of a hesitation I've had for years in my 2004 Toyota Solara. It was supposed to cost $100 (same price as other dealers) for them to update the transmissions computer, a 1 hour j years in my 2004 Toyota Solara. It was supposed to cost $100 (same price as other dealers) for them to update the transmissions computer, a 1 hour job. Long story short, the dealership went through the proper procedures before updating the computer, but during the update, a cell in my battery went bad and like updating a bios in a computer, if you turn off your computer in the middle, it will render the computer useless and you have to toss it. This is what happened to my car computer. My bill quickly went up from $100 to $950. I will say that they were trying to get me to pay for the bill, but as you can imagine that didn't go over well. I then asked to speak with the Manager, Michael Chinn. I told Michael that I could understand having to pay for a new battery, but I was not OK with buying a new computer. I told him that I was not warned that this could happen and the mechanic who was standing there said they didn't tell me because this was one in a million, he's never seen it in 7 years. At the beginning of our conversation, Michael said he would try to get it taken care of and by the end of the conversation he said he would get it taken care of. This was a Saturday and it took several days to get a new computer to install, but they gave me a free rental car in the meantime. On Thursday they called at 6 pm to pick it up. When I went to pick it up, they told me that they got Toyota to cover it under warrantee. Not only did they pay for the new computer, but I got a free battery and they updated the computer for free too. It was way far and above what I expected. The dealership was very courteous throughout the entire process, I was very pleased. The only issue I had was the fact that they would have let me pay the $950 if I had not complained. No harm done, it turned out fantastic and now my car runs better than it every has in the 10,000 miles that I've owned it (it only has 42K on it), there is no longer an irritating hesitation. More

I just traded in my 2008 Dodge Avenger R/T f new or used car. Why? Because they are friendly, fair and will NOT put any pressure on you what-so-ever. I just traded in my 2008 Dodge Avenger R/T for a 2013 Toyota Avalon XLE Premium and the process was as smooth as any transaction of this kind could be..... I've dealt with many new car dealers in my life (I'm 67 and my first new car was a '69 Nova) and I can honestly say this was the best new car buying experience of my life. Randy Adams is the "go-to-guy" and he made my wife and I feel welcomed and respected. Very little "negotiating" was needed because they offered us an amazing deal .... right out of the 'gate'. Service area tour (pristine shop), 6 detail bays, parts dept. and lounge area etc. make for an amazing state of the art facility. Hendrick knows what it takes to make repeat customers - and they do it right. With the Toyota premium name badge behind them .... how the heck can they go wrong? More
