I really enjoyed working with Sean Parent at Herb Chambers Honda of Burlington where I just bought a 2013 Honda Fit. I walked in there with a Consumers Report car report on the Fit that I wanted and we came to agreement on price very quickly. Then there was the trade-in which required some back and forth, which was always respectful and thoughtful. Sean got the decision-makers involved that were needed to get it done. When I took possession of the car there was an informative hand-off from Sean. Also over the next few days on a couple of occasions there were calls from Sean wanting to make sure that everything was going well with my use of the car and that I did not need any questions answered. I thought this was really excellent after-sales support. To sum it all up, this was a very positive car-buying experience for me and I highly recommend dealing with Sean Parent in particular and with Herb Chambers in general, where I have had my other Honda serviced for quite a few years. I dreaded the thought of buying a new car, which for me is usually a very stressful situation. You go through the motions: the looking, the choosing and, then, the buying! During these “procedure” I’ve always asked myself, "Am I getting the vehicle I want at the price I want?”. Perhaps, I’m being pressured by the salesman: I don’t know him, I just met him, is he being honest, why should I believe him?! These are all normal concerns and questions most everyone has when purchasing a new car. But please believe, having Sean Parent as my salesperson, I didn‘t have those concerns nor did I have any qualms that I was getting the car I wanted at a fair price. Working w/Sean was like a walk in the park. I think he realized my apprehension; he was patient and very understanding. I never felt pressured or hurried, I wasn’t confused! Sean was completely thorough in explaining and/or answering what I needed and wanted to know about the Honda I was about to buy. I was pleasantly surprised how satisfied with the entire “buying” process; Sean made it easy and comfortable. I felt that it worked well for me, and I would definitely do it all over again (that is, in 4 or 5 years from now!). Sean Parent, the salesperson we worked with, was helpful and appreciative of what our needs and use would be in a car. He is not the pushy type, which was a relief compared to the last salespeople we dealt and appreciative of what our needs and use would be in a car. Sean Parent was extremely professional and fully dedicated to me leasing a 2013 Honda Civic EXL.
