I contacted Herb Chambers Kia of Burlington on Saturday and spoke with Rodney Cadet. He told me I was the first caller on the vehicle and confirmed it was available. I asked for photos, which he said he would send, and I also asked to put down a deposit because I wanted to proceed with the purchase. Rodney checked with the sales manager and told me they would not take a deposit because the vehicle was still being serviced and cleaned. I made it clear that I wanted the car and asked him to call me as soon as it was ready. On Monday, Rodney emailed me 22 photos and asked if I wanted to move forward. I replied that I did want to proceed with the sale. On Tuesday morning, I called to finalize the purchase. Rodney was off, so I asked for another salesperson. I was connected to someone named Joe, who told me the vehicle had already been sold. I received no call, no update, and no notice that the car was being sold to someone else — despite clearly stating I wanted it and being told I was the first caller. This dealership wasted my time and showed zero transparency or professionalism. If this is how they treat a serious buyer before the sale, I can only imagine what happens afterward. More

I recently purchased a used car from Herb Chambers Kia in Burlington. I had the car for a couple of weeks and took it for its first car wash. When I stepped out of my car after the wash - two spots of rust t Burlington. I had the car for a couple of weeks and took it for its first car wash. When I stepped out of my car after the wash - two spots of rust that were not there before. I’m past the 5 day return window. It’s disappointing that these spots appear to have been temporarily covered up, and we’re not disclosed on the sale. I’m not sure if this is a fast one on the part of the dealership, or the party who traded the vehicle. Nevertheless, rust on a used car that is not disclosed is an awful discovery. More
