I recently purchased a car from Herb Conolly Chevy a few months back, my first time doing business with them, and the experience was excellent. Paul (the salesman) was good to work with, but I was disappointed by several things. About 2 weeks after I bought the car (3 years old, ~30K miles) I called about a potential tire issue (I had been putt disappointed by several things. About 2 weeks after I bought the car (3 years old, ~30K miles) I called about a potential tire issue (I had been putting air into the tire 2x/day). Their first response was to blame a nail (OK, maybe reasonable), but they did not offer to look at it, instead just told me to go anywhere. So I did - turned out that they sold me a car with a cracked rim, and a chunk out of the tire! I took it to them and they agreed to fix the rim - by welding it. I was a bit concerned about this approach, but what could I do; I hope it holds. But, it did not end there. They were 'done' with it 4 days later - went to pick it up - they had not replaced the tire! I complained; they agreed to replace the tire. It took them almost 2 weeks to replace the tire! To be honest with you, I think that they completely forgot about my car (it had pine needles all over it when I picked it up...). Not impressed with their attention to detail (selling a used car with a cracked rim! really!) and customer service, but I love the car! (Hope the weld holds.) More
