Birthday present gone wrong. My husband worked with Mark to get me this beautiful 50th anniversary car for my 50th birthday. Everything went really smooth and easy. Very impressed My husband worked with Mark to get me this beautiful 50th anniversary car for my 50th birthday. Everything went really smooth and easy. Very impressed and very pleased! At least at first....after a few days, we started finding stuff wrong with the car. Scratches in glass, hail dents, bad paintless dent repair work, misfit interior panels, and headliner. We also found places where rubbing compound was still present, now why would there be a need to buff a new car? Anyway, we expressed our concerns with our salesman who assured us it would be made right. We discussed the issues with General Motors corporate and they stepped in to help. Our next contact with the dealer was from our salesman, who told us that the general manager wanted the car back, and they were "un-winding" the deal. Now they have tried a couple of times to force the sale through our credit union. The payment has been denied by our credit union, based on the un-disclosed damage and the text message from our salesman, that asked for us to return the car. General Motors is still involved and things are getting more heated. Mr. Russell Wetzel treated us very unprofessionally, to the point that we had to just walk out and leave the property. Very very disappointed. By the way, this car was a dealer trade from Dunn Chevrolet in Eufala, Oklahoma. I don't know who got to who, but the customer should in no way be responsible for the ill results of that trade. There is more to say but why bother... More
