Not So Simple Detail I purchased a new 2014 Honda Odyssey in March 2014. When I took delivery the car wasn’t as clean as I seen other cars leaving the dealership. I purc I purchased a new 2014 Honda Odyssey in March 2014. When I took delivery the car wasn’t as clean as I seen other cars leaving the dealership. I purchased a lot of new cars and this is the first one that wasn’t cleaned very well. The car even had plastic on the exterior that I removed when I got home. I mentioned this to the salesman and he spoke to his manager and the manger told me to bring it back in and they would detail it and make it right even fill up the tank and a loaner car. I asked about having the cleaning done at my first oil change and they said that would be ok. My first oil change was due and I contacted my salesman about service and the detail that was promised to me along with filling up the tank and a loaner car. The salesman said he spoke to the manger the (same person that told me about the detail, filling up the tank, and a loaner car) and he said they could only do the detail. I called the manager and was able to remind him of the things that we discussed when I took delivery of my new car. He was very cooperative and agreed to the things we discussed. I dropped off my car for service and a few hours later I received a phone call that the car was done. I thought wow that was fast. I sent an email to my salesman to check and make sure the car was clean. I returned to the dealership to pick up my car and my salesman said he just checked on it and sent it back to get a few things cleaned. At this point I thought ok they are making sure it really looks good. After 30 minutes of waiting I was told it was done. They brought the car around to where I first took delivery and it really looked good. I checked a few things open some doors and everything looked good. However, when I returned home I checked the third row and the trunk area. These areas were not even touched. The floor mat in the third row still had dirt on it and the trunk area had dirt there as well. So I guess a detail cleaning in my mind is different than the dealerships. I sent my salesman an email about the cleaning and that he should be aware of it and to let the appropriate people know. His response "I will let the manager know". In the end if you offer your customers something as simple as detailing a car try not messing that up and maybe check on the quality of work your employees are doing so your customers don’t have to make you aware of them. More
11 Years. 5th Car. Loyal Customer Well Served 11 years ago we walked in and met Gary Zuber (now head of inventory) and he helped us buy our first Honda. It was a 2003 Odyssey that we proceeded to 11 years ago we walked in and met Gary Zuber (now head of inventory) and he helped us buy our first Honda. It was a 2003 Odyssey that we proceeded to drive 240,000+ miles before handing it back only go get another Odyssey. Along the way we purchased a FIT (now driven by my mom) and 2003 CRV that we put 182,000 miles on before trading it in yesterday for a 2014 CRV EX with Lan Greer who made the entire process easy and fun. Though the dealership has changed ownership, it has maintained a the highest level of customer service and has always taken care of our cars, helping with occasional recalls and warrantee issues with very little of my time. Clean, bright store. Nice waiting room. Wireless. Oh, and free cookies. Can't beat that. More
Horrible Service Department I have 3 had a bad experiences with the Bel Air Honda Service Department. I would think twice before you get your car service there. 1 -- In 201 I have 3 had a bad experiences with the Bel Air Honda Service Department. I would think twice before you get your car service there. 1 -- In 2013 had them repair my car after an accident. It took them 3 times to get things right. They do not do the body work themselves. I was just told last week they still do not do body work on-site. 2-- I took my care in about 6 months ago for a normal service and they did not reassemble the car correctly. I was able to see this prior to leaving the dealer and they fixed it. 3 -Last Saturday, I dropped my car of for normal service and my check engine light was on. They were understaffed and did not communicate to me at all. I had to call them in the afternoon to see ask what was going on with my car. I was told it would be ready at 2:30. I showed up and they had not even started the work. Later I was called and they told me there were having issues and could not fix the problem. No communication, understaffed, inexperienced service advisors and this resulted in a horrible experience. The Service Advisors did not know what they were doing. Every service advisor there had about 2 weeks experience. I took my care to a dealership in Towson on Tuesday, They had the part that was needed to fix it, Bel Air Honda told me I needed a wheel alignment done. The Towson dealer hooked my car up to a vision system and showed me everything was fine. That means that Bel Air Honda told me I needed work done without knowing. Be aware of them trying to overcharge. More
Rick Tassone will stay overtime for you. I was in this dealership working with Rick, he went to bat for us in trying to get us a good price, we ended up getting 2014 Civic at a nice price. We did not have all the documentations needed to complete the deal, Rick stayed and saw the deal through even if it means waiting for us to get the documents and staying pass his scheduled hours, then he patiently went over the features of the vehicle with us.
