A Pleasant Experience! I stopped in at Bel Air Honda on a Wednesday afternoon and had the pleasure of chatting with Rick Tassone. I informed him that I owned a CR-V many yea I stopped in at Bel Air Honda on a Wednesday afternoon and had the pleasure of chatting with Rick Tassone. I informed him that I owned a CR-V many years before and I was interested in seeing what the 2014 had to offer. I was currently driving a 2009 Ford Escape and I was considering a 2014 purchase on Thursday. I had Rick get an appraisal on my car while we went for a test drive in the 2014 CR-V. Rick was excellent in informing me of the changes between my old CR-V and the 2014, and answered all of my questions with ease. We went back to his cubicle and my appraisal was waiting for us. We discussed the price of the car and my trade-in, a few visits between Rick and the sales manager and we finally agreed on what I thought was a fair price. I told Rick that I had an appointment with a Ford dealer on Thursday morning but I would call him in the afternoon to discuss my plans. Thursday morning the visit tothe Ford dealer was one of those attempts at buying a car where you felt they were lieing to you at each and every step. I left the Ford dealer and drove straight to Bel Air Honda and purchased my new 2014 CR-V from Rick Tassone. I am 67 years old and have purchased many cars over the years, but this was one of the easiest purchases I have ever made. I felt like I was dealing with a gentlemen that was proud of his product but was not pushy in any way, shape or form. I highly recommend Bel Air Honda and especially Mr. Rick Tassone if you are considering the purchase of a new Honda. More
Amazing "First Car" Buying Experience I just bought my first brand new car and had a very smooth buying experience. During my car search I experienced other car dealers/locations, but their customer service does not even compare to Bel Air Honda! More
Vehicle was damaged while in service department I took my van in for brake service and was told that it would take 5 days to get a brake caliper and my van was not safe to drive until it was replace I took my van in for brake service and was told that it would take 5 days to get a brake caliper and my van was not safe to drive until it was replaced. The service rep was not friendly or helpful on the phone. FIVE recalls were also performed despite the fact that my van had been in the shop just two months before - I wasn't sure how five recalls happened in such a short time! I couldn't be without my vehicle that long, so I called another shop which had the part and was MUCH cheaper and completed the work in an hour (we were leaving on vacation the next day). When I left the Honda dealership with my van I had to pull over on a busy road when I realized they had not reattached the front fender cover and the plastic parts below! Plastic parts were dragging on the road and had extensive damage! It was at that point that I realized my front license plate was partially detached as well. I was a loyal customer for 8 years (everything from oil changes and new wipers to major repair work), but I do not plan to return. I would have returned to the Honda dealership,but not after I discovered they hadn't put my van back together and it caused damage and could have caused an accident! More
Not Happy At All In January 2014 I took my car with 51000 miles on it in for a recall. I let my horrible experience go until I received a courtesy call today telling me it's time for service. I had never been to Bel Air Honda and I did not buy my car from them, so I could have been a returning customer. I got there and they took my car back. I was told it would be about two hours so I decided to wait. While waiting about a little over an hour Tom comes to the waiting area to get me because "they found an issue with my car and he didn't want to scare me" ... Really? So he takes me back to the desk and proceeds to tell me my lower ball joints are in bad shape and they require fixing as soon as possible and they could do it today.( I didn't know this was part of my recall) I opted not to I just want my car at this point. I just recently bought it so it had passed inspection. Now I am just irritated and full of questions like how did it pass inspection like that, if it was that bad. Did I get ripped off by the other dealer? I take my car home and in the following days take it to two seperate trusted mechanics I have been to over the years (cause one opinion didn't make me feel better) both of which told me there was absolutely nothing wrong with my car and that Bel Air Honda had lied to me. One of these mechanics actually took me back and showed me as he went through the tests for bad lower ball joints. Bad lower ball joints aren't something I want to mess with so I had to make sure. I don't know if it was cause I was a girl and Tom thought he could get over on me or what. But I was extremely dissapointed in my experience and will never return. I will tell others I know to do the same. And NO I will never bring my car in for service from Bel Air Honda or buy a car from a shady place like that. More

New Honda Accord Purchase I researched various vehicles online that I was looking to purchase. I emailed Bel Air Honda to get information on the new Honda Accords, Ashleigh wa I researched various vehicles online that I was looking to purchase. I emailed Bel Air Honda to get information on the new Honda Accords, Ashleigh was extremely prompt and helpful with getting a price for me and breaking down the various charges. When I came into the dealership after work on that Monday with my young daughter I was able to test drive the vehicle I ended up purchasing. Stan was my salesperson. He took the time to go through all the features prior to driving. We went for the test drive and came back to talk numbers. The whole process was seamless, I took my daughter home and came back to the dealership where I sat down with Josh the finance manager. I signed all the papers and was on my way. Everything about the transaction was great, the price, dealership, salesperson, and service thus far. Def recommend to anyone looking for a new or used Honda. More
