Original submission: They botched the deal for my daughter. Dallied around for 1 1/2 hours to agree on a price because they didn't want to show the offer on paper (including the taxes and fees). Had to ask a second time and they finally got around to it. Then the business manager sold her to take financing through them for 1.99% for 72 months. She already had pre-approved financing arranged through USAA for 72 months at 3.74%. They called her 2 days later to tell her that the loan didn't go through becuase they failed to check that she had not had a car loan before. The business manager did ask her if this was her first car and she answered yes. He just did not check the box in his computer. Their screw up is going to cost my daughter an additional $1031.04 in finance charges becasue she is going to have to go to another bank at a higher interest rate. Thoroughly upset becasue I recommended this dealership to her because I had a good expereince here when I bought my last car. I originally wanted to see the Honda Insight but when I saw the car in person I didn't care for it all that much. I had the Civic on the back on my mind and Carl made the suggestion to give it a spin sinc saw the car in person I didn't care for it all that much. I haven't seen my car get 46MPG (yet) but it keeps increasing (currently at 35mpgp). I test drove the Civic LX coupe... I wanted the EX w/ Nav. About a week later he was able to get his hands on one. They keep going off the lots fast! My car came from the eastern shore! Rides great, sales guy is awesome. No complaints and I will definitely be back for more! Got a great rate on my car loan also!!
