Fairly good experience I was in the market for a new CX-5 and had my eye set on a specific model. After search for about four weeks, I decided to purchase in the DC market b I was in the market for a new CX-5 and had my eye set on a specific model. After search for about four weeks, I decided to purchase in the DC market based on surrounding dealer reviews and manufacturer incentives at the time. I initially dealt with Daniel Kim and he was great at answering any questions I had. What person actually picks up their phone at 9:30pm and introduces themselves these days? We went over what specifically I was looking for and as I had a tall order, did advise them of exactly where I needed to be financially. Arriving at the dealership, Daniel introduced me to William, who assisted with finding the vehicle for me, etc. When it comes to patience, I have never come across another person before who has so much patience than William. He basically went to bat for me and was able to get me exactly what I was looking for. When eventually working with F&I, I was introduced to Alex. He was extremely laid back and took the time to go over all financing terms, etc. My prior Mazda purchase at a different dealership was an extremely negative experience thanks to financing, but Alex was able to put me at ease. One nice thing about this location is the "next generation" dealership design. There is not a desk where three or four of the managers tower over the potential buyers and look down on them. It is very transparent and everyone is on an equal playing field, which is much appreciated. After taking delivery, I was pretty excited about my new ride, but that's where it stopped. As I have two time sensitive questions which I need to get answered by F&I, it has been like pulling teeth to get in touch with someone from this department. Over a two week period, multiple calls have been put in plus communication via email. As of today, I haven't received a call back nor and email and it''s like I'm a non-existent customer now. I would have provided a five star review, but not following up with a client, especially when it comes to finances doesn't sit well with me. Hopefully a call or email will come through soon, but overall, I had a good purchasing experience with Heritage Mazda in Catonsville. More
