My goals were: to feel comfortable with the people that I was going to with; to see if they listened to what I said to them in terms of cost and financing; was it located in a convenient place to my home; and were they proactive in maintenance of my new investment. After my other 4 evaluations of dealerships failed terribly. I drove back to the RUSSEL MAZDA DEALERSHIP and we made the deal. There were several people who made this experience pretty much stress free. Herb, Dave, Daniel, Danny and I think Louie(who works in the service area and drove with me to get my cars first full tank of gas and he showed me how to work all of dashboard buttons), and best of all May who started the dialogue with me online. The service department - I don't know what the deal was, but we wound up waiting for close to 3 hours for them to get the car ready after it had already been test driven. Maybe there is something that needs to happen that I am not aware of other than removing stickers and a wipe-down, and filling the tank. Maybe there were a lot of other cars receiving service, but this is something the dealership would do well to address. More

Great Experience, Great Staff I recently came across a used car that met all the requirements for my first purchase at Russell Mazda located in Baltimore Maryland. The only dilemma I recently came across a used car that met all the requirements for my first purchase at Russell Mazda located in Baltimore Maryland. The only dilemma that I faced was the fact that I live in Philadelphia PA. I proceeded to visit many local dealers in my area that had the same make and model car at a similar price point. However, as friendly as many of the local dealerships and reps were, I just did not feel 100% comfortable pulling the trigger with these dealerships due to high pressure and/or lack of knowledge. The staff at Russel Mazda ( especially Lola and Nick) actually convinced me to make the 2 hour drive to see their facility and see the car first hand. Now when I say convinced I do not mean they twisted my arm, promised me the world, or used any hard pressed psychological sales tactics to lure me in. EXCEPTIONAL customer service, quick follow ups, low pressure and knowledgeable staff is what ultimately got me down there. Once I finally decided to purchase the car, the members of the team did not rush me through paperwork but instead thoroughly explained each step due to the fact that this was my first purchase which meant the world to me. Finally, In addition to the ride I received from the sales manager to drop off my rental at a nearby enterprise and the restaurant recommendations I received from Lola and Nick for some good local MD food, Russell Mazda left me with a piece of mind that I made the BEST decision in doing business with them and I could not be happier that I made the trip and purchased my first vehicle here.
