When I arrived at Heritage Belair Mazda, I knew specifically what I wanted. I researched the Mazda 3 and test drove several vehicles at various dealerships before I walked through the Heritage sho specifically what I wanted. I told him which vehicle I was interested in and if he could give me a price I was comfortable with, I would purchase the vehicle. A price point was agreed upon, and Ahmed made the sale happen. He went over the owner's manual with me and told me that the "quick reference guide" would become my best friend. Was he right! I use it all the time. He also came out to the vehicle and explained all of its many features. He even synchronized my phone for me. His friendly nature kept my buying experience from becoming a pressured sale. I was then escorted to the service department and scheduled for my first oil change. Next, on to the finance department, or so I thought. It took quite a while before I saw the finance officer. Even though he was extremely courteous, I felt this process was too lengthy. I know he had to explain the additional protection policies and options that I could purchase; however, I just wanted to sign the paperwork and take my new vehicle home. Overall, my experience at Heritage was great. I even received a call from Ahmed a few days later asking how I liked the vehicle and if I had any questions that he could answer. After a few bad experiences with other dealerships, I was about to give up on finding a better vehicle for myself and my family when I went to Heritage Mazda's website and saw a Mazda3. I called the dealership and received excellent service over the phone when asking about the vehicle. I went to Heritage Mazda that evening and the vehicle was there waiting for me. Fran Meyers was the salesman who helped me and he was wonderful. He helped keep me well within my budget, was very friendly and outgoing, and even treated my two boys to a soda and candy. I have found a dealership for life. I had a wonderful experience buying a used vehicle. I absolutely love my Mazda3. More
I found the car I was interested in on the internet; Ahmed responded to my internet request. He was knowledgeable, likable and efficient. Upon my return he gave me his undivided attention while we worked on some prices; James was also very helpful. I told him I needed to sleep on the deal. By 9:00 the next morning, Ahmed called. I asked for a bit more for my trade-in; he called back within minutes and the deal was done! He told me the car would be ready and waiting for me that evening; it was! Stephanie was delightful...very efficient and knowledgeable. The deal went through without a hitch at all. Years ago, I had been very very disappointed in Heritage Mazda in Bel Air and swore to myself that I would never go back. But Ahmed, Stephanie and James have certainly changed my mind; and I'm now the proud owner of a Mazda CX7! More
The overall experience would have been great except there was a long wait for financing. However, everything else was great. Financing person, Stephanie, was very friendly, easy to understand, and patient. The dealer had to stay open later than usual to get me in my car that same day and nobody seemed to mind. I recently bought a used truck from heritage mazda in bel air. Great looking truck. Sales Rep was very friendly and easy to work with. And thats as far as the customer service went. Didnt even have the truck a week and the check engine light came on. Took in for service, had a speedy turn around but the issues was not fixed. brought it back one more time for the same issue, just to have to bring it back the following day. The thrid time i brought the truck in the the service department could not fix it and had to send it out to a local GMC dealership. Truck was in the shop for over a week with not one phone call on a update or even letting me know that they shipped my truck to another dealership. After truck was back at Heritage got a phone call saying they need me to drive it for a week then return the truck for a "check up". After that call i got another call saying my truck was "completely fix" and that I could pick it up at Heritage in Bel Air. Went that same day to Heritage to pick up truck and no one could find anything on my truck. They was no paper work on the services that took place with my truck or any invoices for any transactions that were made between Heritage and the local GMC dealership.No one seemed to know what was done to my truck beside that it was "FIX". So in a nut shell my over all review for MileONe Heritage Mazda is.....I will never go here for any of my automotive needs every again and I will make sure my friends and family never go there as well. More
