When we began looking for a new vehicle, we did a lot of research and decided on the Mazda CX-9. We don't have a Mazda dealership near where we live, so we contacted Heritage Mazda. Our salesman, Francis Myers, called back that day. We talked about the type of vehicle we were interested in, including extras, and Fran assured us he would find one for us if the one we wanted was not in stock. This was important to us since we were more than 2 hours away. We made arrangements to meet and drove down, not exactly sure what we would find. From the moment we arrived, we were treated as if we were the only customers they had. Fran had found the vehicle we were looking for with all the options we wanted. We were able to test drive the vehicle right then, and decided it was what we wanted. We then began the process of completing all the necassary paper work. Fran made it all very easy, and we were out of there in no time at all, with the exact vehicle we wanted. While they were preparing the vehicle, they even bought us our lunch. Now that's what I call great service. We'll certainly remember Heritage when we consider our next vehicle purchase, and will reccomend them to all our friends. On 2/15/2011 I drove all over the Bel Air, Maryland area looking for a new car. After six attempts at finding cars, all of which met with ZERO customer service, I wound up on the Heritage Auto Mall Mazda lo looking for a new car. After six attempts at finding cars, all of which met with ZERO customer service, I wound up on the Heritage Auto Mall Mazda lot. After browsing a bit I ran into Wil Wells. Wil not only took time to greet me, say farewell to his first client, but then took the time to explain a bit about the car I was interested in. Wil set me up in a 2011 Mazda 2, that Spirited Green color too, which has been a blast driving. Wil's dedication to service was clearly evident. He talked with me and my mother about the car, made sure we test drove it, and then helped us along with the paperwork. On top of all that, he was the FIRST sales person I had seen all day. After a few hours with Wil I would consider him family, all around a wonderful person. Wil also set us up with a great trade in on a Ford Ranger, and also helped us with some incentives. I would highly recommend him to ANYONE looking to buy from the Heritage family in Bel Air. More

No to negotiating a better price; no to working with the bank I requested; no to holding my check for several days, even though I signed a form which sa to negotiating a better price; no to working with the bank I requested; no to holding my check for several days, even though I signed a form which said they would; no to matching CarMax's appraised value for my trade-in, even though they have a policy that says they will; and no to the availability of a certain car, even though the care was in fact available according to their cross town dealership. As friendly and professional as they try to be, these folks are nothing more than your typical car salesmen...and that unfortunately speaks for itself! More

My experience with Mazda Heritage was incredible and I am not exaggerating! In one week I had bought 2 used cars ,from other dealerships, and to my disappointment both had to be returned. After 2 weeks of searching finally a decent car salesmen,Bo Shu,who actually went out of his way to pick me up in Gaithersburg , Md(1.5 hr drive)where I was stranded after returning the second used car!! I had no idea how I was to get back to Baltimore..Crazy I know!! The Mazda CX-7 that Bo had rescued me in was the car I ended up loving and buying at Heritage Mazda Belair.I had the car fully inspect by my mechanics and it passed with FLYING COLORS!! It was a relief to find a dealership that was friendly, trust worthy and RELIABLE!! And talk about customer service. What other dealership would have gone out of their way to pick up a stranded potential customer 1.5 hours away!!UNBELIEVABLE , I tell my friends this story and they can not believe it !! Heritage found us exactly the model we were looking for, had it transported from out of state (without extra charge), and gave us the best price out of all the dealerships we contacted. Unlike so many salespeople I encountered during our car shopping adventure, Bo and James were courteous, easy to talk to, and low-pressure. Our dealings were exclusively over the phone and email until we came in to buy. They didn't over-promise, dismiss our concerns, lie, or push extras. They actually listened to what we wanted and were able to deliver. They seemed to have good communication amongst themselves and were effective helping us as a team. The actual buying transaction took a bit longer than we had anticipated but I've never bought a new car before, so maybe that's just how long the paperwork etc. takes. Nonetheless, it was a pleasant experience -- Bo (and everyone else we met) was friendly, knowledgeable and responsive. I wish we lived closer to this dealership so we could use it for our regular servicing. Thanks Bo for your help today! More
Everyone at Heritage, especially Fran, was very helpful and accommodating to our needs. They worked extremely hard to get us our new Mazda in a short time frame while having to overcome extenuating circums and accommodating to our needs. Scott Burton, the salesman was wonderful. He covered everything and was extremely professional. He bent over backwards making sure the purchasing process was as easy and pain-free as possible. I found it was not prudent to repair the car I towed in because of the age and mileage on the car. Rick Fallamo in the Service Department directed me to my salesman, Will Wells.
