Bobbi Panuska and her manager,James Utermohle worked very hard to locate the exact color that she wanted and she was able to pick it up on Monday. Bobbi gave my daughter her undivided attention as she explained every detail about the car and went so far as to sync her cell phone with blue tooth. Everyone at the dealership was friendly. The service manager Mike spent some time talking to us about the Mazda brand since this was our first Mazda purchase. I will recommend Bobbi, James and Heritage Mazda of Bel Air to my family and friends. More
I absolutely recommend test driving a Mazda, but try it at MileOne Heritage Mazda of Bel Air. I was treated with the most respect and consideration. It was the only dealership where I didn't feel like I at MileOne Heritage Mazda of Bel Air. I was treated with the most respect and consideration. It was the only dealership where I didn't feel like I was being followed around or pressured to buy. Wil was extremely helpful and patient with all of my questions. In all honesty, however, I wasn't seriously considering a Mazda at all until two of my fellow Charm City Roller Girls raved about how much they loved their Mazda3's. I decided to give it a test drive before I bought the Fit... and the car sold itself. The ZoomZoom is very useful for my daily commute in downtown traffic, the handling is INCREDIBLE on the tight curves of the I-83 Jones Falls Expressway, and the cargo space hauls all of my roller derby friends and gear. It's practical, but fun! The steering wheel features are more convenient than I expected, and I prefer the European-style seats. I also have to admit that the 2010 model has a pretty hot design inside and out. :) And to top it off, the price was right. I love my Mazda3 hatchback! Bobbie was friendly and helpful on every visit we made and she didn't make us feel like she was pushing the sale. Stephanie worked very hard to get us the best rate she could. She really went the extra and she didn't make us feel like she was pushing the sale. Stephanie worked very hard to get us the best rate she could. She really went the extra mile for us! We would definitely recommend this dealership to our friends and family. More
What can I say about Ahmed and everyone there. I stopped at another dealership initially and received a quote. Afterwards, I looked around for another price and spoke with Ahmed. Right from the beginning, at another dealership initially and received a quote. Afterwards, I looked around for another price and spoke with Ahmed. Right from the beginning, he gave me an excellent deal on the car. He did everything he could to get everything I asked for. He asked me every question he could to help me get the price as low as he could for me. This was the first time I had ever bought a car for myself. Everyone always has horror stories about being taken advantage of. I checked out one last dealership just to be sure... let me just say that it was not even necessary to check. They were all so very nice. I can not say it enough. More
Dealing with Bobby Panuska at the Heritage dealership was an easy one, since she was our first contact while starting out what I thought was going to be a long drawn out adventure for a vehicle with my daugh an easy one, since she was our first contact while starting out what I thought was going to be a long drawn out adventure for a vehicle with my daughter, however after the warm & informative welcome from Bobby it was highly likely we were coming back. After visting 3 other dealers and reviewing, test driving other manufactures products we were un-knowingly comparing the CX-7 to other vehicles which none had the options and quality we wanted. Since our test drive was an CX-7 without the turbocharger, we contacted Bobby to test drive a turbocharged model and she arranged it the next day. After that she located the vehicle with everything we wanted in it plus some extras & had it available in a day. During the paper work she was very friendly and walked me through every step with her team members who promply perpared the paperwork and during that time spent what ever time my daughter needed to go over the vehicle, including an open invitation to stop by anytime if needed. This is my first Mazda and have a good feeling about, since if the vehicle is as friendly, reliable & competent as Bobby Panuska and the team members are at Heritage I'll be back. Thomas Hug More
Wil Wells was really friendly but did not pressure us at all; he even helped us figure out where other car dealers were for other cars were were interested in test driving. Of all the places we test drove c all; he even helped us figure out where other car dealers were for other cars were were interested in test driving. Of all the places we test drove cars he was our favorite sales person and, as we ended up buying one, the Mazda 2 was our favorite car. More
I was very specific in my needs and they did what was necessary to find the vehicle to match it. The finance team was very knowledgeable and provided me with several options to choose from. My search for the most versatile manual trans 5-door hatch led me to Heritage almost by accident .i had already a few vehicles on my short list vehicles [along with gratuitous opining on my part] 1-For hatch led me to Heritage almost by accident .i had already a few vehicles on my short list vehicles [along with gratuitous opining on my part] 1-Ford Fiesta:Just a smidge on the small side for kids also you can't turn off the traction control...and i just couldn't wait for the new Focus to come out in 2012 2-VW Golf 5-door:The original HOT-Hatch.Millions sold .Vw's always are well equipped for their price point. Most standard features on dubs are options on others.Vw knows where to save the money like steel rims instead of alloys since they can get you with the drivers gear catalog after the sale.Superior German ergonomics .great electronic steering and autobahn tuned suspensions. But I have been driving them for 15 years and was considering a change .I should disclaim also that i worked for the largest independent Vw Tuner in the mid-atlantic region so,i am a little biased here. 3-Hyundai Elantra Touring:The Koreans are really getting their act together as of late.Bringing in the Euro-Market I-30 wagon is another move forward .it got me to take a serious look at this car.most cargo volume hands down. The SE model sports a leather wrap tilt and telescoping steering wheel, heated sport seats ,moonroof with roof rails.SE has nice beefey swaybars ,slick split 5 spoke alloys, usb port,Its German design origins shine thru on the understated well laid out classy interior.I couldn't believe it was a Hyundai. Then came the wildcard........ I was driving on the way home from another dealer on my quest. When i spotted the new Mazda2 in Heritage's parking lot Being a micro car aficionado i just had to stop in [10minutes b4 closing]to check it out and was greeted in a friendly professional manner by Bruce Curtis.I told him i was just looking he answered a few questions and since he knew right away i was sport compact enthusiast,he let me take a few xtra cans of the zoom zoom concentrated promo-brochures to put in my motorsport collection. He offered for me to come up anytime and take it on a "Real" test drive. I was then followed up with an e-greet from Bill Keyes the GM thanking me for stopping in and ensuring me Heritage would settle for nothing less than my complete satisfaction and about Heritage's commitment to excellence[Which i have experienced many times dealing with heritage VW so i was no stranger to the Mile-1/Heritage philosophy].Wow i was impressed ..... Came in with my wife to size up the 2[She thought the green metallic was sweet]{i was partial to the White peral mica and the Red one] .After some tirekicking we decided it was just a too small for our needs[Would be a great car for young singles/couples].Bruce recognized me came over to greet me even though he was also assisting another client. He introduced me to James that night while i took a peek at a black mica 3sport5dr on the showroom floor.Nice car didn't know about that smiley front end though. No pushy tactics at all while we browsed the showroom for over an hour.Bruce followed up with an email regarding the annual labor day tent sale all our local dealerships participate in belair.I was already planning on stopping by the Hyundai dealers tent to make my deal on the Elantra Touring. The Hyundai dealer said they Couldn't "find" me the color i wanted.whilst another Hyundai dealer across town found me 1 in NJ .told him i would call him Tuesday if i didn't make a decision over the holiday weekend. On impulse i picked up the phone called Heritage Mazda to ask if they had some manual trans 3HB's at the tent or the shop. The courteous young lady i spoke with said if they didn't have one at the tent they would send 1 down for me.B4 i i even got out the door to get on my sportbike to ride over James called me to confirm what i was looking 4.James said he had several at the tent.I buzzed on over ,James saw to it that i talked with Bruce on the 3sport5door.Bruce had remembered i was looking at a black Elantra elsewhere so he asked me if i wanted to look at a black 3.Told him i actually liked the white mica on the 3sport that was sitting in the setting sun glimmering in all its Pearl white mica.B4 i test drove it i had James get me 3 prices[ i already had my $numbers in my head]base, moonroof package, tech package.the white mica car had it all. After a test drive with Bruce over to my house to get my wife a chance to test drive the car as well.Bruce and i drove back to the event filled out the lend agreement for an overnight stay with our family .Bruce put some gas and had the vehicle back at my house within 30 minutes off at my house for the "Pepsi challenge" against the Golf and the Elantra.During our conversations i really tested Bruce's knowledge of the Mazda model comparison guide against the competition. He answered all all the questions i had on the features, advantages, benefits of the Mazda 3sport .When i got real technical Bruce knew not to BS and honestly told me he didn't know the answer to my question about if it had dual-mass flywheel vs single mass flywheel.I was impressed with his candor, sincerity, and personable customer service skills. After my wife and kids were tucked in dad went out for a shakedown on the tightest and twistiest backroads harford county has to assess the Zoom-Zoom factor of the 3sport.Monday came and it was time 2 deal. This is when it usually falls apart with other dealers.James' price he gave sat night at the tent was competitive but i told him to do better or find me a white mica car with moonroof/bose package only.He tried but couldn't find one.He suggested the black one.I said no the one thing i did fall in love with was the white mica. Some of the ergonomics were a bit quirky[typical Japanese].Not quite on VW level yet it was a nice layout and controls were intuitive .The ebrake is to the far right for my taste but it makes room for a huge center console armrest combo. Not quite as roomy as the elantra plus no heated seats or usb.On the upside the mazda3 2.5sport hatchback handled as good[dare i say even better] as my old Focus but with may more midrange. The MZR2.5L engine is awesome if a little unrefined .The valve timing and fuel mapping is spot on as well as throttle calibration.the slick 6 speed. No Zoom-Zoom was lost on the updated 3 from it's original incarnation Even the Electronic power steering was tuned great[honda, hyundai, nissan, toyota should take note here].Bruce and James were trying to make something happen.they offered to have an aftermarket installed moonroof on a base white car.i politely declined[gotta say they were trying].They offered accessories at a discount[which was nice] .It just came down to me wanting more bang for less bucks [who doesn't].James assured me they were making slim margin on this car.I countered that wasn't my problem[since i'm a euro-car snob and that buying a Asian car is like a step down in the first place] and i just didn't want to pay for stuff i didn't need and have to pay for stuff i do need.So we came to the walk away part of the deal when i told him i was gonna head up to the VW dealer though i told him thanks for the demo time and since they were so cool to deal with up to this point i would stay in the Heritage family since they have a VW dealership in Owings Mills[i assured him i wouldn't even consider our local Vw dealer[which also sells Mazda]since i know many people who have had unpleasant experiences in the past .I told James and Bruce how i know it's their job to make money but it's my job to save mine. After all My wife and i are well qualified buyers with tier-1 credit scores who were serious about a new vehicle purchased but not stressed at this time to get a car[our Vr6 Jetta runs like a champ still after 150K]James couldn't get up to the showroom personally[he was swamped at the tent sale]all the while i was giving him a hard time on the phone. He worked with Bruce to get me the deal i wanted on the loaded white mica sport5door i had tested over the weekend. The out the door price that included the $500 rebate from the labor day sale that actually beat my Edmunds.com$#'s by $600.My price included taxes, tags, title and a free Factory roof rack[$382.00list]i wanted them to throw in to make up the space the Elantra5door had on the Mazda.Plus the 0% apr financing and no payments for 90 days[i wanted to buy a car by dec].i was now out of reasons not to buy this dynamic "drivers"car.I was able to get a deal i felt solidly good about.Heritage was able to move a end of model year unit, Bruce gets my commission and Mazda converts a VW owner[though my wife and i both were former Mazda owners 20 years ago].A win win all around.Bill told me in that email that my complete satisfaction was the commitment to excellence they strictly adhere to.I can attest to that fact and in no uncertain terms Heritage is the real deal.Rick in financing got us thru all the warranty and value adds Heritage offers. We went with the Gap coverage and the environmental protection for the interior .All rolled into the deal and financed for ZERO interest. The guys in the detail shop had my new ride all shiny and clean filled with gas and ready to go. Bruce had the detail mngr[who was another friendly professional] set me up with an appt on the spot to apply the upholstery protection for Thursday. informing me also Heritage would provide me with a loaner to use while the work is being done.Bruce also gave me a ticket for my first oil change 2be on the house.Bruce also stayed and gave me a tutorial on the blue-tooth and voice command system .Bruce even paired my phone with me and how to get the Sirius going and explained that my wifes i pod touch can be paired as well[sorry i gave you guys a hard time about the lack of a USB port].Service and parts were closed on labor day. since Heritage is a Mazdaspeed dealer their parts and service guys will definitely be getting to know me in the future[im thinking Mazdaspeed sway bars and springs will be the first mods].i followed up with Bruce this afternoon he said my roof rack will be in fri afternoon.just in time for us to take the 3sport 5door to the mountains for a weekend getaway with the kids. The styling is really growing on me.The body lines look super sharp with the White Pearl Mica paint.great supportive sport seats, factory side skirts ,rear hatch spoiler, stainless muffler with dual chrome tips really look great too...DADDY LIKES.My kids favorite parts are the rear center armrest with cupholders that actually folds down without interfering with booster/car seats and nice sized door side pockets that fit their action figures and hot wheels cars perfectly .The tech package i didn't need is turning out 2 be pretty sweet.i love the Sirius radio. All in all a great experience.I'll make sure to dealer rate the service dept when that time comes.Bill was right the Heritage team will do what it takes to get you satisfied with the purchase experience.Where other dealers fall short Heritage will exceed your expectations .Give them a try.I'm glad i did .Thanks again,The OTTObahns Scott, Tamara and sons.... P.S. when time comes to part with our Audi Quattro avant sport. We'll be giving heritage Subaru a try on the new outback[Mommy likes...] More
Gave us the info we needed. Great to work with. Pleasant experience. The price on our Mazda2 was great, and the fuel economy on the vehicle was just what we were looking for. Have bought 3 Saturns previousl experience. The price on our Mazda2 was great, and the fuel economy on the vehicle was just what we were looking for.
