A new adventure As I had not purchased a new car in over 25 years, the thought of doing so was a bit daunting. However as I dropped in to check out and test drive a Subaru, the salesman was lowkey and very friendly. He was very knowledgeable about all parts and features of the cars I was looking out. After listening to my specific situation and getting a gauge on my lifestyle he suggested a different model that might be more suitable. After test driving it, it proved to be a joy and had every feature I had on my written wish list made up 6 months prior and more - it was a hybrid. I really had not expected to bring one home that day but did so and after 1 week, it has been fun to drive and a very easy transition. The whole sales experience (though quite long) was pretty painless, much to my surprise and though I was overwhelmed with all the information on the car he gave me and knew I would not remember, it is to his credit that he knew so much about every feature. I am sure this vehicle will last a long time and I would do it again and recommend this dealship to others. More

I remember buying my first car from him at Heritage. Now that he is a manager, I was set up with another consultant to look at vehicles and test drive. Catherine Sparling was the salesperson and was a breath of fresh air. She was knowledge and down to earth. Two weeks after my test drive I decide on the Subaru that I wanted and emailed Greg. Greg responded to my email a day later which I wasn't mad about since people can be busy. Greg found the car I was looking for and had everything worked out before I came back in. Oh and to top it all off Greg was in surgery the day I sent my email to him. That is commitment. Catherine went over my new Crosstrek setting my phone and radio stations and went over the navigation. I'm not to tech savy. lol. More

She understood my situation perfectly and the whole team was able to bend over backwards to get me where I needed to be in costs and time. THE FORESTER IVE BEEN WAITING FOR Everyone knows that the Subaru Forester is HOT right now. My husband and I wanted a silver base Forester and at the time Heritage Subaru did not have one in stock but had one incoming. We were able to sit down and has out all the pricing and details and leave a deposit. Out sales person, Cat, knew all the ins and outs and was able to pick and secure our future Forester. We really appreciated the constant updates as to the status of the car and when the Forester arrived, she notified us immediately. We were there an hour later and took home our new Forester 2 hours after that. The finance guys are really professional and made the process quite simple for us, even taking home a maintenance plan and extended warranty. I highly recommend this Cat, Greg the manager and the dealership overall. Lovely experience. Our niece is actually headed their way for her own Subaru! More

I began working with Norm a few months back when I began my very initial search in a vehicle. His personality, knowledge and friendly demeanor established an immediate rapport. He sat with me, discussed options and took me on an amazing test drive where he educated me on all of the car's features and demonstrated its safety and handling by trying to push the car to its limits. I knew when I was ready that I would go back to him and only him. Last night I sealed the deal and my wife and I are ecstatic! I passed three closer Subaru dealerships just to complete the transaction with Norm. He is by far the best in the business! More

So far, I have only made one visit to this service department. And it was exceptional. They actually took my car in after another dealership messed it up and got her running normally again. They have qualified employees at every position and their high levels of work were an immense relief after dealing with the other incompetent dealership. Confirmed Hyundai Santa fe owner i need of new car. I had done some significant research prior to going to the dealer to test drive a Volkswagen CC. Although this dealer was a good 30-40 minute drive from my house, I had no problem making the extra drive for stellar customer service. Sure enough, Heritage of Owings Mills did not disappoint. Since they didn't have the specific model I was looking for, Melissa volunteered to drive to Toms River New Jersey to pick up the car. Bad weather was suppose to roll in the next day which would have altered the delivery of the vehicle, hence the reason Melissa wanted to get the vehicle that night. Well, what was suppose to be a 2 hour drive took Melissa over 4 hours one way. She didn't get back to the dealer until well after midnight and was there the next morning to give me the keys. This is totally unheard of at any other dealership. In fact, I can almost guarantee that any other dealer would simply delay delivery for a couple days due to the weather. I am extremely impressed with the service received at Heritage Volkswagen and wish other dealers exemplified the service!! More
