Bob was very friendly. We never felt pressured and it never felt like a "sales" pitch. Bob was very easy to relate to. He talked to us on a personal level that was honest. I have been researching a new vehicle for the last year on Consumer Reports, Car and Driver, Insurance Institute for Highway Safety, American Express Auto Purchasing Program, etc., comparing driving perfor on Consumer Reports, Car and Driver, Insurance Institute for Highway Safety, American Express Auto Purchasing Program, etc., comparing driving performance, safety features, reliability, relatively low cost maintenance between a Subaru (Forester and Outback) and Volkswagen (Passat Sedan and Jetta Sportswagen). I either visited dealerships in MD or researched them online. Based on Consumer Reports, IIHS and friends and families that purchased Subaru, we decided to invest in a new Outback. We visited Subaru Heritage given its competitive pricing and professional customer response to our online requests. After receiving a competitive quote and referencing it to the pricing reports provided by our credit card company (what consumers on average paid for a new Subaru Outback based on the specific model that we wanted), we decided that Heritage Subaru’s quote was reasonable and competitive. We spent 4-5 hours with Norm Penn who provided a no hassle superior customer service that involved among others test driving the vehicle in Owings Mills including extreme driving in a parking lot to demonstrate the Outback’s Vehicle Dynamic Control and Traction Control System in wet conditions (rain on the day of purchase) and used the paddle shifts in the automatic transmission model along certain stretches of the drive. This demonstrated his knowledge of the vehicle and reassured us that buying a vehicle from Heritage would be the right decision. We also shared stories about our family backgrounds that complemented the buying experience. At the end of the day before we drove off with our new Subaru Outback, I went for a handshake but Norm insisted on a hug and he also shared a hug with my wife. Good man to work with and will likely be back to purchase a second vehicle to replace our 10-year-old Volvo when it breaks down. More

Doc did not ever seem annoyed and I never felt pressured to purchase any car. They were kind with both myself and my Son. On the last day I was ready to order exactly what we decided was the best car for him. When I told the Doc and Jay they said "I think you will be happy" They had gotten the exact Subaru Impreza he had hoped for in that morning! I was so happy and so was our son!! Doc made sure he went over everything on the car with my son. He showed him how to work the bluetooth with such patience. My husband was at work 3 hours away Jay talked to him over the phone told him what needed. Jay was extremely informative and efficient. In a very short time he drove away in his new car! We appreciate how we were treated as customers and Individuals. I will highly recommend Heritage Subaru to anyone. My son Loves his new car and my Husband and I Love the safety features it has. Robert was very pleasant to work with. He is the first person I talked to when I became interested in buying a Subaru. He told me everything I needed to know about them, and we discussed what type of car person I talked to when I became interested in buying a Subaru. I also really like that he didn't pressure me in any way one way or another to definitely get a car. He worked with me to figure out if it was best for me before we even discussed me possibly buying one. It felt very personalized and the experience felt very custom to me as an individual. If I showed up spontaneously on a whim, and Robert was busy already with someone, he immediately made efforts to get me set up with someone who could help me with my needs until he was available. Everything from beginning to end went very smoothly, and I LOVE LOVE LOVE my Subaru Impreza :). It's my baby! More

Jay Danick has always always provided the best service to me on a personal and friendly basis when purchasing a new car, or to discuss and act on any concerns or just say hello and chat when I drop by the dealership for service, etc. On my recent new car purchase, both Jay and Pat Carney, did everything possible to make me feel comfortable, make the deal easy and attractive, answer all my questions, cover all the information, and more. Karen Goodman spent time doing the same with the financing and other optional features. Frank Higgs has been my (our) service mechanic/ technician since February 1991. Frank has provided excellent care of three new and two used Subaru vehicles since 1991. More recently, Bill and Harry have been my Service Advisors and always provide excellent service and advice. I will happily continue to enjoy my association with Jay, Pat Karen, Frank, Bill and Harry well into the future. More

I did research online and requested several prices. Anthony Pitts sent me the information, and we worked out a deal over the phone. I thought for being a new model, it was a good deal since several other dealers claimed they were not really giving much discount because they "were selling fast". We went in the same day and drove it home the same say, all within a reasonable amount of time. Overall, I was impressed with the experience and Anthony was VERY friendly, called our insurance company, and even showed us how to work the Blue tooth feature on the car. (I usually dread the negotiating part and was glad that was something we did prior to arriving, so that made the day more enjoyable.) There were no hidden fees and everything was explained prior to the final paperwork. The only thing I didn't really enjoy was the final paperwork where the extra warranty items are pushed. Although, I knew it was coming and figured it was just part of buying a car. I declined the extras... and attitudes then sort of changed for a few minutes, but I guess they have to try to make money where possible. I would buy a car from Anthony again....but now I'm out of money. More

I have purchased four out of five at Heritage Subaru and have always been exceptionally pleased. Jay Danick , sales manager, is great , always cordial and very polite. No high pressure, just excellent prices and info every time. Jay is a pleasure to work with. My salesman this time was Pat Carney and he was extremely helpful to work with. He demonstrated the many features of my new Subaru, and was very patient with my numerous questions. Pat is a great salesman , very helpful and puts you at ease when making this major purchase. Heritage is the way car buying should be, a very positive experience. NO high pressure, just easy helpful discussions about the Subaru products.I would definitely recommend Heritage Subaru Pat, and Jay for anyone in the market for a new Subaru. More
