After we purchased our Sienna from these guys they forgot After we purchased our Sienna from these guys they forgot who we where. I was driving approximately 40 MPH with a full size box spring on the roof ra After we purchased our Sienna from these guys they forgot who we where. I was driving approximately 40 MPH with a full size box spring on the roof rack and the rack torn loose from the top of the van spilling the boxspring onto the road. Of corse the boxspring was damaged and the roof rack destroyed. This is a item that is transported by people all the time in this manner and if you look in the owners manual is well within the size and weights listed as safe. I am happy to say no one was behind me when this happened. If this thing had gone through the windshield of a car it could have killed someone. The customer service people and ultimately the regional manager at Heritage more or less told me,"It sucks to be you buddy, do you want to buy a new roof rack from us?". Not only that this regional manager tells me, a person who has a delivery business with three trucks from a 12 ft box to a 20 ft Freightliner, he has driven trucks for a living and if I had used it to put my canoe on or bring some plywood home it would have been okay they would have fixed it. This fellow must of forgot about the surface area a piece of plywood or canoe has. So if you buy a Sienna with about 10,000 miles on it from Heritage this is what you can expect from this dealership. On the second part after we bought the Sienna we went back to look at a Matrix for my daughter. This was just after we bought the Sienna but before the roof rack ripped off. We saw that they had two used Matrix's on the lot so we made them an offer for both which they turned down but later came back with an offer they must have thought we couldn't refuse. The problem with the offer was it came after we found two brand new Matrix's from a Boston dealer and the new cars in Boston where priced for $2000.00 less than what Heritage was willing to sell the used ones for. The sales person said yeah but you have to go all the way to Boston to get them. We won't be doing any business with Heritage ever again. Since these disappointments with Heritage we have purchased a Rav from Courtesy Toyota. Desmond really goes all out to get the customer the best deals and even came to our house after to pick up the one of the cars and drove it 38 miles both ways for service when I thought there might be a problem. We have also done three year leases on a new Rav and a Prius with Courtesy and Desmond. I guess when it comes to service after the sale it is pretty important for some people. Heritage has lost the sale of several vehicles by the way they handled the damage on a roof rack. More

There was a great selection of cars on the lot at the time which made easy to pick out a great one. The people were super friendly and made the whole process so easy and quick! I was purchasing my first car. I was nervous and asked several questions, but all the employees took time to answer them all. They reassured me the vehicle was a smart buy. We live in Texas...have an apartment in Stowe and spend time in VT to visit children and grandchildrn. We came to Heritage to buy 'first car' for to-be-16 yr old. He has a wonderful personality, integrity, honest and dependable. We had thought we would make purchases in Texas between now and early 2011. HOWEVER, with Heritage, Jim and Nick....we 1. Traded in '07 Jeep Liberty(heritage managed payoff and all Chrysler paperwork) 2. Purchased used '08 Toyota Yaris for granddaughter....and was she ever surprised and thrilled! This car was on the Heritage lot. 3. Purchased a used '09 Toyota Avalon XLS which Heritage acquired from dealership in NJ to meet our requirements on accessories. 4. Purchased a '10 Toyota Prius IV which Heritage acquired from dealership in MA so that I could have Blizzard Pearl color with solar cell feature on the roof. All of this was done is very short time frame....like one week...and we drove the Prius back to Texas. We will buy Toyota again.....and, more importantly, we will buy again from Heritage and drive the vehicles home to Texas. More
