As with any promotion there are conditions. This person failed to add that the promotion clearly said "UP TO 120%." Any reasonable person understands that vehicle values are subject to the condition and mileage of the vehicle, as was clearly stated in the offer. We deeply regret that this person was not satisfied with the value of his/her vehicle, but we have no control over how a person cares for and maintains their vehicle which is why all vehicles are subject to a hands-on inspection. It's common knowledge that a vehicle, like everything else, is only worth what someone will pay for it...a damaged or previously damaged vehicle with high miles is not worth as much as a nice, clean, well-maintained, low mileage vehicle. Unfortunately some people only hear what they want to hear and see what they want to see irrespective of the disclaimer that the value "UP TO 120%" was subject to the vehicle's condition and mileage. As an eight-time winner of the pretigious Precision Team Dealership of Distinction Award from Acura and the top-selling New and Certified Preowned Acura dealer in eleven states this year, we take every review seriously. While our positive comments far outweigh the few individuals who take out their frustration with the car buying process on dealers, we are just as frustrated with the ability of individuals to say whatever they want without providing full details of the situation. We do however, appreciate the opportunity to respond.
