Forcing my to come in to prepay for a part rather than letting me pay over the phone is a horrible policy. Forcing me in for this is wrong during regular times but much worse during Covid, especially in y letting me pay over the phone is a horrible policy. The service was good however, it took too long. I made an appointment to drop off the vehicle. I did it this way because I have some experience dealing with Honda. This is the first time I have owned a Honda appointment to drop off the vehicle. I did it this way because I have some experience dealing with Honda. This is the first time I have owned a Honda, I have owned many other vehicles and have never had to spend so much time at a service center. I have a 2018 Accord with only 8000. miles on it. I went to another service center and it literally took 7 hours each time just to do an oil change on two separate occasions. This is crazy, I could have done the oil change myself in about one hour. Hillside Honda seems to have the same problem. My car had a NHTSA recall which needed a computer update. I dropped off the car at 9 am and was told it would be ready by 5PM or possible sooner. I was sent a text around 2 pm and told that the car was ready. This was after five hours but much better than at 8 hours or 5 pm. I appreciate that it was ready a bit earlier but still too long to be without my car. Now, I would understand if I had to have some major work done on the car but this is not the case. It's just routine maintenance or updates. I would hope that Honda would take look at the service times and find a way to reduce it. Customers deserve better. More
