DO NOT LEAVE A DEPOSIT - THEY DO NOT REFUND I wish I can give them minus 5 stars!! They try to convince you that you have to make a deposit if you want a quote (which they falsely claim is refun I wish I can give them minus 5 stars!! They try to convince you that you have to make a deposit if you want a quote (which they falsely claim is refundable in 3 days if you cancel). The problem starts if you choose not to purchase from them, your refund seems to be squandered away. No one seems to take responsibility and all the managers are always busy and do not return calls as swiftly as when they wanted the sale. The first sales person I dealt with told me to my face that my refund processing is not a priority to them anymore. They took my deposit from my debit card on 27-Nov-2018 (Almost 4 months ago). Failing to get my refund the first time, I still tried again in February 2019 to purchase a car from them, the list requirements was unbelievable, other dealers I went to and even closed, didn’t even ask for half of what they wanted. One of the sales manager lied to me that the bank need a back and front copy of my SSN, SMH!! Before I engaged them I read reviews here where persons complained about not getting back their refunds as promise. Nevertheless I took a chance thinking that they probably improved, they probably did improve, for the worst!! Do not be fooled by the glamourous sales tactics, and their nice words at the first engagement, they need your sales then, in the end its all hollow and meaningless. No integrity! When they can't get your sale they CON you your deposit. I am appealing to anyone who is car shopping DO NOT deposit any money with HILLSIDE TOYOTA, drive away, walk away or run away from that place. I had great experience with a Toyota Sienna minivan that we still have after 14 years. But we needed something updated, and went with the souped-up Toyota Sienna Limited Premium. It's a great car with everything! As with any dealership, research, research, research the car, pricing and options BEFORE you go to the dealer. They know whether you're informed or if you're not, so they'll make you spend your hard-earned money, if you're not. But, if you know what you want to buy, know what options you want, know what price you want to pay, they WILL make it happen for you. Ask their phone/internet people to email you a price that you're comfortable buying at before you go in. They will honor it, but you need to make sure, and not change things. Hillside Toyota was just purchased by Titan Motors Group, so they'll give you lots of complimentary items, such as free NYS inspections for the life of the vehicle, monthly car washes for six months, oil changes for 3 months, and free lost key for a year. I'm going to try their service department after a few years of being away. More
