Hello TAMISHA247, We sincerely apologize for the miscommunication regarding the warranty on your vehicle. I have been informed by our assistant service manager, Carlos, that when you called and provided your current mileage our associate indicated this was within the warranty period however they did not clarify the in-service (meaning when the car was originally sold as new) date of your vehicle. The in-service delivery date of your vehicle is how the manufacturer’s warranty determine eligibility. Although warranties are typically transferable to different owners, the 3 year or 36,000 mile warranty always corresponds to the date the car was first sold as new. When you brought your car in and we performed a VIN inquiry, we found that while your mileage would still qualify the time period of the warranty had expired. We apologize for the confusion and we have taken steps to ensure this does not happen again. Your experience is extremely important to us at Hoffman and we look forward to your next visit.
