Buying a vehicle? Ask for Mark Newcomer! I recently purchased a 2017 Honda Ridgeline. When I came to Hoffman Honda to see a Ridgeline up close and maybe even sit in it, I ran into salesman M I recently purchased a 2017 Honda Ridgeline. When I came to Hoffman Honda to see a Ridgeline up close and maybe even sit in it, I ran into salesman Mark Newcomer. I told him I didn't want to waste his time, because I wasn't sure I was ready to buy one, but I wanted to check it out. Mark was patient with me. He let me "kick the tires". He went and got the key and let me sit it the truck, fiddle around with all the gadgets and check out the in-bed trunk (very cool). He even let me take it for a drive, and it was the only one they had in stock. After a couple more visits to see the Ridegline and more detailed discussions with Mark, he told me that there was one that matched my wish list that was due into the dealership in a week. We agreed that he'd call me and I'd come look at it and take it for a spin. Then I could decide. Well, it came in two days later and I drove it and loved it. The next day I owned it. Not because Mark pressured me into buying it - he never pressured me. I just really wanted the truck and Mark made it happen. He made the buying process very very easy. No comments like "Oops! Forgot to tell you about the such and such fee". No bait and switch. Nope. No problems at all. Mark was knowledgeable about the Ridgeline, honest and upfront about all the costs involved and the availability and installation of options.
