This was the BEST car purchase experience that I have ever had! What a difference in attitude and approach to the sale has occurred at Hoffman Lexus since I last dealt with them in 1992. I purchased my SC300 from another dealership because of their poor customer approach. I then purchased my second Lexus out of state. So, it was with a degree of intrepidation that I came to your dealership to see if anything had changed in 19 years. It certainly has for the better! Don Salierno was very easy to get information from about the various vehicles we were interested in, options, pricing, etc. He did not give us a sense of being aggressive or disinterested in our multiple questions. He was very pleasant and gave us a lot of his time to get through the process. Most importantly, when I asked him to get the best and final price, he did so quickly on the first round. He knew that we had shopped other dealerships as well as the internet for comparative prices. He met our expectations nicely. Never did I feel that we were being hustled to purchase what we did not want nor need. He listened well and responded appropriately. Al Ramos was very informative with all of the options we needed to consider relative to financing and extended warranty. He never made us feel under pressure to purchase, but was factual to present the merits of each package. He had prepared all of our purchase, title and registration information in a very accurate and timely manner. It was a very efficient process. These are the reasons why I gave the highest rating to Hoffman Lexus and these two employees. They exceeded my expectations on the purchase process, and have given me a renewed perspective on what a modern auto dealership can do to change its culture to be very customer friendly. I will definitely recommend and use Hoffman Lexus in the future. More
Buying a car can be very stressful and I tend to dread when the time comes. However Tom Ryan and Kevin Warriner made it a very exciting and smooth experience for me! Kevin was instrumental in finding out exactly what style car I was searching for and located the car I wanted very quickly. He made me feel like an important customer with his efficient communication and consistent updates. Not only was Tom Ryan's energy very enthusiastic about the Lexus product but he explained each form in detail so I knew exactly what I was signing! He also provided a detailed overview of the car highlighting all the new features (updated nav, bluetooth features, etc) from my previous model. I was impressed with Tom's efficient style as he double checked my car after I cleaned it out and found that I had left a parking garage pass for my job in there which I was appreciative he had found! I had such a comfort and great feeling when I left the dealership driving my beautiful new car! I knew that I had partnered with people I can trust and who really went above and beyond as far as customer satisfaction goes! I am truly appreciative for what Kevin and Tom have done for me and am overly excited with my new car!!! Due to their service - I look forward to a lifetime relationship with Hoffman Lexus! Ryan was fantastic from day one. It is hard for me to say that about a car dealer but he really was. He gave me a great price and no nonsense when it came to the usual dealer "added extras". I just purchased a new Lexus RX 350 from Hoffman Lexus and the experience was outstanding. The salesman was courteous, patient, professional, knowledgeable, friendly and extremely helpful from start to f and the experience was outstanding. He did a great job of helping me understand all of the many features of this luxury SUV. I also interacted with his sales manager who provided valuable input relative to pricing without wasting my time. Even the business manager was very helpful and did a great job of guiding me through the myriad of paperwork that needed to be completed. I would be remiss if I didn't give credit to the service team who provided me with a car that could not have been in better condition. All in all I believe I got an outstanding automobile at a very fair and competitive price. At no time did I feel pressured in any way. I highly recommend the dealership as well as the salesman I worked with. More
While we started off with one salesperson, we ended up being taken care of by Ron Brunelle who was fairly new to Lexus, which we would not have guessed because he knew absolutely everything about the SUV being taken care of by Ron Brunelle who was fairly new to Lexus, which we would not have guessed because he knew absolutely everything about the SUV we were about to purchase. He was a joy to work with and his love of Lexus was obvious. He was the perfect salesman; friendly, honest, upbeat,excited about the SUV we intended to purchase, and believable but also more than happy to give the buyer time to think things through before making a decision. Having leased one Lexus, owned the second, and about to purchase a third that was more complicated for me because so much is now done by computer and it was also was a hybrid, I certainly was thrilled that he was willing to take the time to show me everything I needed to know before leaving with the new SUV. I cannot think of one question he was not able to answer!! NOT ONE and I had plenty of questions. However new to Lexus or not, many things were out of his hands and were done by other people, which created a hectic and charged atmosphere. As this was our third Lexus, we knew from past experience, that negotiations were tough, if done at all. We decided to purchase the 2010 model because we thought we would be getting a GREAT deal only to find out it was minimal as was the trade in value of our old Lexus, which, they did offer to let us adjust the price if we wanted to take the old car back to sell privately. We blame ourselves for this as we had not done any research before going to the dealership and as I said before we did know how tough their negotiations can be. Those were the two things that we were most disappointed in, the discount on the 2010 model and the trade in value of our current Lexus. The whole idea was that we would leave with the new SUV the same day, which we did but it made for a very, very, very long and exhausting day. It did not occur to us to try to go to another dealer as one customer stated he did and the hassle of trying to sell the car ourselves did not make much sense after giving it some thought, although I am certain we could have gotten a better price for it had we taken the time to try to sell it privately. It just did not make much sense after all the paper work had been done etc., to redo everything adding even more time to an already long process but we would certainly try to sell this SUV before purchasing the next car. LESSON LEARNED!! They did give us a good deal on some of the extended services as I tend to keep my cars for a long time but I also take excellent care of them and don't put allot of miles on them. Besides we had developed a trusting relationship with Ron and our past experience with their excellent service, (which is extremely important to us), with this dealer over many years has created a deep loyalty. We do think that the sale itself should be more cohesive,as having different people doing different things keeps the salespeople running from one person to another, making it more difficult for them and in the end prolonging the sale of the automobile. This experience was by far the BEST I've ever had looking for a new car. Tom Ryan went above and beyond to get the deal done for us and to make sure we were happy. He took the time to help us on a VERY busy day and followed through on the entire deal. On the day of pickup, he stayed late to accomodate our schedule, took his time to go through the entire car with me and did not rush me out. Alexandro was also helpful, considerate of our limited time, and knowledgeable when we met to sign for our deal. We had previously had a Lexus from this dealership, switched to a Mercedes and are now back in a Lexus. After this experience, I will ALWAYS be in a LEXUS and will only deal with TOM RYAN!! This is my first Lexus ever and my first time dealing with the Hoffman auto group. I have to say it had been a very delightful experience so far!
