STAY AWAY FROM THE DEALERSHIP Lets start at the beginning. We live 2 hrs north of the dealership and found they had a car we wanted. I called and spoke to them and was told they match Carmax offer beginning. We live 2 hrs north of the dealership and found they had a car we wanted. I called and spoke to them and was told they match Carmax offers. We drove there test drove the car and all seemed good, until trade in time. I was then told the Carmax offer was not a real offer, even though the email I showed them hgad a reference number and literally said, this is a valid offer bring your car to a carmax dealer to begin your sale or trade in. After getting that resolved the buying process was simple. During the process I was told all of their cars come with Lojack and basiclly you cant not pay for it. The next day I figure I'll log into the Lojack account and take a look. When I logged in I was met with a message that said this requires hardware that is not installed, contact your dealer to schedule an install. This immediately had the feel of fraud, made me buy something that wasnt there. It also made me think how many other people has this happened to, where they were made to pay for something that isnt installed and they never knew because they didnt log into the Lojack website. I called them and it took 2 hrs to get a sales manager on the phone because they refused to speak to me. Literally I was told the sales manager refused to speak to me because I didnt tell them my name or phone number. I finally talked to one of them and told him what was going on and asked for a refund of $700 to be mailed to me. The next day I was told they are sending me new contacts to sign taking the Lojack off the contract. When I got the new contract Lojack was still listed as an option. I called them again to be told it is their policy to have the Lojack listed with every vehicle they sell but and they discounted the car $700 to offset the cost. I immediatly though the dealershiip was comitting a scam or had a deal with Lojack. While this all was occurring the AC in the vehicle we bought got a system fault and when I called the manufacturer about it was told the AC needed to be repaired and found out it would be betweem $800 - $1000 to fix. This happened before owning the vehicle for 48 hrs. Over the course of the next week, I spoke to the dealership everyday and when I woudl call the phone person would either tell me that she did not know the person I was asking or say they werent there. During the week of waiting and phone calls about the AC I was told several times that teh GM would not speak to me and they refused to even give me his name. The sales manager I was dealing with kept telling me he had to speak to the GM. At the end I was told I bough a used car AS IS and they were not going to even pay for some of the reapir cost that I am going ot have to incur to fix it. During my last phone call with them, I spoke to the sales manager who worked with me on the purchase and expressed my concearn about siging a contract that still listed Lojack as an option installed on my car and that it seemed to be fraud on their part. The story of it has to be listed changed to we will send you a new contract to sign taking the Lojack off and keeping the purchase price of the vehicle what it was when you bought it. Stay away from this dealership. THe customer service post purchase is the worst I have ever recieved. The scam they are pulling with the Lojack and that they refuse to speak to you after you pay them. Go anywhere else. After driving the car for only 2 months this is what the tire looked like. The tire was bald, top layer of rubber was gone, it had a flat spot, and was buldging. Goodyear said it was not from 2 months of driving and had been like this for a while. He also said we were lucky it didn't explode. For thos dealer to say they do an inspection and a xxxx joke. You put me and my family at risk to cut corners. More
The salesman was very helpful. Didn’t enjoy the finance department trying to convince us to finance as we knew what we wanted to do, but overall a good experience.
