I have 2 Kia’s from different dealerships, I like that fact that Hollywood Kia gives you a set time and you are taken at your time and out the door in reasonable time cause most people do not buy car’s ar fact that Hollywood Kia gives you a set time and you are taken at your time and out the door in reasonable time cause most people do not buy car’s around the block from a dealership.. My service advisor was not clear on communication of the cost with service. It seemed to me there was alot going on at Kia Hollywood that day. Alot of unhappy customers and hardly no apologies. Just be car cost with service. It seemed to me there was alot going on at Kia Hollywood that day. Alot of unhappy customers and hardly no apologies. Just be careful. People are using inflation as an excuse just as using covid as an excuse not to put effort in what they are doing in their life. More
The service I received in this building was worth zero stars but at least my car got done so they get 1 star. I made an appointment for me at 2:30 and one for my father’s car at 3:00 and we both arrived a stars but at least my car got done so they get 1 star. I made an appointment for me at 2:30 and one for my father’s car at 3:00 and we both arrived at 2:35pm and the front desk person found my appointment but not my father’s and without taking his name or information at all, she told him it would be considered a walk-in and it would be taken care of after the appointments. Due to this, we made a second appointment for him for later in the week as we waited for my car. After waiting for about 2 hours, even though I was told it would only take an hour, an advisor came to tell my father about a conflict with the two appointments he had. We explained at least 3 times that the first appointment was “not found” and therefore we made another for later in the week. Now they told him they could take care of his car in about an hour. We just wanted to leave. Everyone who walked into the building was either disrespected by the poor attitude of the front desk personal, or told that despite they made their appointment they were not found or could not be helped that day. Needless to say, I rather pay for my car to be serviced anywhere else rather than deal with the disrespect and waste of time here. More

Hollywood Kia is, unfortunately, the epitome of a stereotypical car dealership and the reason why many consumers have an aversion to them. I originally met with Achille, who quickly revealed to not h stereotypical car dealership and the reason why many consumers have an aversion to them. I originally met with Achille, who quickly revealed to not have the expertise we were looking for (maybe he was new?) so we asked to speak to the manager. Garfield arrived with a print out of lease quotes for the Kia Seltos- set to arrive on the lot the 28th of December- about a week from the day we were there. After some back and forth he wrote down a deal w/ terms on that paper for $36 less a month than originally quoted. After some more back and forth we decided to take that deal. Achille proceeded to outline the terms on the back of said paper, and asked for my signature, which I provided. About 15 minutes later Achille came back with a new print out of the original paper. When I asked to see the one I had signed he turned a bit rude saying, you won’t get a penny less than this. When I asked to speak with Garfield on the matter, he again rudely quipped you’ll be waiting all day. Finally, I got Garfield’s attention, explained the matter and asked to see the original paper that he himself wrote the offer on. Garfield informed me that Achille had thrown it away in a locked trash can, whose key was with the Owner who was not present that day- convenient. A while later Garfield retrieved the paper from the trash, now crumpled up, and came over with his General Manager, whom when I explained the situation to, accused me of coming up with conspiracies. I assured him I was just explaining the facts while it was clear that the GSM was blaming his employees and the employees were blaming each other. Needless to say, we left. The next day I received a call from Kia asking about my experience. I filled Yaneli in and she spoke with her manager. After hours of phone calls and picture evidence that I shared with her, she told me they could do the lease for their bottom line of $250 a month. I agreed to the offer and she sent me a CC authorization form to fill out immediately. Right after I sent it in, I had an email from Garfield saying the price had now gone up to $273. Yaneli no longer responded to my texts or calls. When I sent a screenshot of their website offer advertising a lease for $234 (which Garfield had shown me the day I was there) he said he would only honor that if the car was on the lot, but I couldn’t reserve it. I found this odd because we had originally been negotiating on a car that wasn’t on the lot to begin with, and it didn’t seem to be an issue then. I asked Garfield to alert me when the car arrived on the lot. I kept following up with Kia and four days after my initial meeting, I spoke with another employee, Yani, who sent me a picture of the car I wanted currently on their lot. So of course, I let her know the situation and that I still wanted the car. Garfield eventually took over again and now the price had gone up from $273 to $277- they just had to squeeze another $4 out of me! Also, When I asked Garfield to honor his word on the $234 internet deal he declined, which I have written in an email. Finally I bit the bullet and swallowed my pride. While the experience was exhausting and the employees rude and dishonest, it was still the best deal all the way up to Savannah! I was well aware of the current demand for cars, but I was very saddened by the manipulation and dishonesty. I will say, Garfield was never rude, but I was frustrated by the constant game and the constant going back on his word. As for Achille and the GSM, Tony I believe was his name, they were outright unkind and dismissive and insulting. The only reason I would recommend Hollywood Kia is for their lack of dealership fees, their insurance employee, and their maintenance employee- both gentlemen were kind and straightforward. More
