I was greeted by Tom who quickly got the keys and showed my wife and I the vehicle and offered a test drive. After the test drive he gave me a service dept tour. Once we agreed this was the vehicle to buy we had went in to work up a deal on the car. Tom was very friendly low pressure salesman, After meeting with Mark Dutton the Sales Manager we quickly agreed on a final sales price. A big thanks to those two for making this buying experience quick and ease. We had previously walked out of two dealerships earlier in the month during negotiations. I also was pre approved with a fantastic interest rate through my local bank but gave them the option of financing my loan with Sam Swope if they could beat what I was approved for. To my surprise the beat my banks % rate so I also financed the vehicle through the dealer. Ryan in finance was a pleasure to work with, he had me in and out in no time. More

Airbag recall I bought a used CRV, and my 16 year old bought a used Accord. Both vehicles had an airbag recall, and neither had been replaced by previous owners. I called on Monday, was able to get my vehicle in on Wednesday morning (kept son's to drive), then son's car on Thursday morning. Work was completed that day, and Doug West was great about contacting me with the status of each car. More

I pulled into Honda world on a whim at closing time and was told to come back the next day with my pay stubs and some other paperwork. When I arrived I met Chris. He was kind and listened to all the horror storied of what happened in the last 2 months and basically told me his specialty was getting his customers in a safe nice car with low miles. He was knowledgeable, patient and walked me through each and every step told me exactly what was needed to get me in a car and followed through with his commitment to me and never left my phone calls unanswered. Car Fax report Our salesman himself was very nice. However, I cannot say as much regarding the Sam Swope trade in policies. After we had picked out a car on the Our salesman himself was very nice. However, I cannot say as much regarding the Sam Swope trade in policies. After we had picked out a car on the lot, we asked about what my trade in, a 2002 Cadillac with 180,000 miles, would be worth towards the newer car, a 2005 Cadillac with 64,000 miles on it. The sales manager, I’m guessing, ran the Car Fax report on my car. It showed as a “Total loss vehicle” back in August of 2009. This was a full three years before I myself purchased the car from Sam Swope. They then basically refused to offer me anything for my trade in. I looked at the Car Fax report that they had printed out and handed to me and I also noticed it showed Sam Swope selling the same exact car six months after it had been declared a “Total loss vehicle” to another person and then later to me in September of 2012. So Sam Swope themselves sold a “Total loss vehicle” not once, but twice, to two different people after it had already be declared a total loss. I said how could that be? They replied, “That’s not our policy,” but couldn’t explain how it happened other than to say that particular entry could have been “Added later.” We came home as my new car was prepared and to make certain it would be properly insured before driving it off of the dealer’s lot and were advised by my wife’s son, also a car salesman with a different dealership, to contact the Kentucky Department of Motor Vehicles because, according to him, “Half the time Car Fax is wrong to begin with and besides, when I worked for Sam Swope, they were not allowed to re-sell a total loss vehicle.” So my wife contacted the DMV, gave them the VIN number of the so-called “Total loss vehicle,” and was told nowhere on my title or registration was my 2002 Cadillac listed as a “Total loss vehicle” and, if it was, it would have been “flagged,” and it wasn’t. We then returned to Sam Swope to finish the paperwork on my newer car. We told the salesman and others what we had discovered. We asked them if they determine a trade in value based upon official DMV government records, or inaccurate, third party, Car Fax reports. Apparently they go by inaccurate, third party, Car Fax reports. I only expected maybe $1000 for my old car. I was finally offered $630, $300 or so which would apply to the taxes they said. In closing, our sales person was very nice and did what was asked of him. However, the Sam Swope offer of $630 for my 2002 Cadillac based upon what we proved was false and inaccurate information, was far less than we had hoped for. More

My wife and I went to Honda World and requested Nick and we are glad we did. His passion for the brand he sells is evident by how detailed he was when introducing us to the CRV. He was deliberate and methodical when showing us the many features that came with our vehicle. He is also extremely knowledgeable of the vehicles he sells. Negotiations with him were what I consider fair. I will definitely request his help when we purchase our next Honda. More
