If you make an appointment your work is done promptly (I am referring to typical servicing as I have not had to have any major repairs). The entire staff from the office to the mechanics (I'm sure they aren't called 'mechanics' now--perhaps 'computer assisted technicians') are always friendly. I highly recommend Honda of Ames. More

I had talked to Aaron Warren when we brought our 2014 in for service earlier in the year and we discussed the new Fit. My daughter in Illinois leased a new CRV at the end of last year and I really liked it, so this time I decided to look at the CRV . I fell in love and I'm STILL in love!! My husband and I talked and left and came back and we now drive the most beautiful car on the road. Of course, I happen to be prejudiced! Our experience was great. Rich Anderson was kind enough to help us while Aaron was busy and then Aaron took over. He went way above and beyond any expectations we might have had. Everyone we encountered made our day a very, very nice one. Scott Shaben was so helpful in getting us on our way. This is my 6th Honda and we still have 2 of the others. If I'm still living in Iowa and decide to buy another one, this is certainly where I'll be coming. Great Experience!!! More

Excellent!! We were driving home on Interstate 35 when we started to have car problems. We were still an hour and a half from home, but needed to leave our car in We were driving home on Interstate 35 when we started to have car problems. We were still an hour and a half from home, but needed to leave our car in Ames. We left our car at the Honda dealership and put our key in the drop box. I called first thing Monday morning. I explained the problem we were having to Max and he was wonderful in explaining that Hondas were known to have this problem. He explained that if it were spark plugs or a piston ring problem, Honda warranty would cover the repair. We also needed an oil change (covered with the piston ring, not covered with the spark plugs) and some preventative maintenance. He explained all the charges. Thank you for your friendliness and your ability to explain everything!! You are AMAZING!!!! Thank you so much!!!! More
