I received a call from Mr Chinwalla stating that he was a previous customer from 2013 and that he was in the store and left because he was upset over the negotiations. I spoke to my team and they stated there was a market adjustment in the market (Not a Honda of Denton adjustment) on the car and that his trade had some small items that adjusted the value of the trade. They explained that he erupted within minutes of seeing the terms and demanded his keys and became erratic. I apologized for the situation and offered the best terms in the market on the new car based on his terms he said that he had already negotiated with five other dealers. I agreed to beat the terms but needed to see his trade due to some issues he claims were not on the car. He then wanted me to give him the lowest price he had been given on the new car (from one dealer) and the highest price he had been given on his trade (from another dealer) and I explained you can't combine the highest and lowest from two different dealers, he thanked me and then said he was going to continue to shop and would try and stop by. Several days later he leaves a 1 star review and his version of what happened. I then called him back and apologized again and asked that in the future if he would consider giving us a second chance.

July 17, 2023. Mr. Rob Thorpe; You seem to have skewed many of the facts in your response. Let me attempt to clear these falsities in your response. Let mee also advise you that I do have the following to document my comments and facts: ( can be made public or be used in litigation if you try to defame me falsely). 1. I have a picture copy of the only offer made by your sales person which clearly reflects the market adjustment to listed sticker MSRP on the vehicle as I have mentioned in my earlier review. 2. I also have documented both our telephonic conversations ( std O/P ). THESE WILL CLEARLY SUBSTANTIATE MY REVIEW COMMENTS AND MAY REFUTE YOUR COMMENTS ABOVE:- 1. PRIOR TO COMING TO YOUR DEALERSHIP - I HAD GONE ON YOUR DEALERSHIP OFFCIAL WEBSITE AND HAVE A PRINTOUT OF THE LISTITED PRICE OF THE CAR AT MSRP PLUS DEALER ADD ONS. THERE IS NO MENTION OF NAY MARKET ADJUSTMENTS. 2. YES - I HAD RESEARCHED OTHER HONDA DEALERS IN THE AREA AND NONE OF THEM HAD ANY MARKET ADJUSTMENTS. 3. I DO HAVE YOUR COMMENT TO ME DOCUMENTED THAT ' YOU EXPECT TO BE A SHORTAGE ON THE MARKET DUE TO CANADA RAIL ISSUES AND YOU NEED TO FEED YOUR SAELS PERSONS - THUS THE MARKET ADJUSTMENT. 4. I HAVE 2 OTHER DEALER QUOTES AFTER THEY HAD INSPECTED MY TRADE IN (ONE ON THE SAME DAYY AND THE OTHER THE PREVIOUS DAY ) AND THEY HAD NO MARKET ADJUSTMENTS AND HAD OFFERED ME THE KELLY BLUE BOOK CASH VALUE . 5. YOUR SAELS PERSON HAD ALSO COMMITED THAT YOU DO COMPETE ON TRADE INS WITH THE BLUE BOOK CASH OFFERS SUBJECT TO INSPECTIONS. 6. PLEASE DO NOTE THTA I HAVE BEEN TO 5 DEALERS AND NONE OF THE OTHER DEALERS HAD SEEN THE WINDSHIELD CRACK THAT YOUR SALE MAAGER SAD WAS THE REASON FOR THE $ 3,500 LOWER TRAD IN VAUE YOU WERE OFFERENG ME THAN THE OTHER DEALERS. 7. I SPENT OVER 3 HOURS AT YOUR DEALERSHIP DUURING MY VISIT JUST HAVING YOUR SAELS PERSON AND MAMABNGER MAKING ME WAIT AND TRYING TO MAKE ME CHANGGE MY MOIND ON THE COILOR OF THE CAR TO THE RED VS THE SILVER THAT I HAD WANTED. 8. IT WAS ONLY AFTER THIS LONG PERIOD THAT THEY GAVCE ME THE FORST OFFER THAT WAS AT A RIDICULOUS MSRP PLY $9,000 LIST PRICE PLUS DEALER ADD ONS PLUS SAELS TAX PLS DOPCUMENTATION LESS THE REDUCED TRADE IN PRICE. 9. YES, ANY NORMAL CONSUMER WOULD GET IRRITATED THAT THIS KIND OF DECEITFUUL MARKITING TACTICS FOLLOWED BY HONDA OF DENTONFATER BEING WITH A CUSTOMER FOR 3 HOURS. AND ALSO, NOT MARKETING TRUTHFULLY ON YOUR WEBSITE. 10 . ONE CANNOT BUY THE MARKET ADJUSTMENT EXCUSE YOU GIVE AS NONE OF THE OTHER HONDA AREA DEALERS HAD ANY MARKET ADJUSTMENTS BUT MOST OF THEM WERE OFFERING DISCOUNTS OF $1,000 TO $2,000 TO THE MSRP LSTED PRICE. 11. AFTER THE INDCIDENT AND MY POSTING OF THE FIRSTT REVIEW - WHEN YOU CALLED ME YOUR OFFER TO ME WAS HAT YOU WOULD OFFER TO SELL ME THE CAR NOW AT THE MSRP LIST PRICE PLUS TAXES ETC. BUT YOU DID NOT MATCH THE KELLY BLUE BOOK CASH VALUE FO THE TRADE IN THAT THE OTHER 3 DEALERS HAD GIVNE ME. 12. I CLERALY MENTONED TO YOU IN THISCALL THAT I HAD 2 OFFERS FROM THE 2 LOCAL HONDA DEALERS THAT I WOULD GET THE NEW 2023 HONDA CRV HYRBID AT A NET CASH PAYMET OF $12,600 AND $12,800 VERSUS YOUR DOCUMENTED QUOTE OF $26,000 - WHICH I DECLINED POLITELY. 13. BESDEIS WITHOUT THE TRADE IN AS PART OF YOUR OFFER I WOULD HAVE LOST ON THE ADDTIONAL SALES TAX OF 6,255 ON THE CAR, THAT MEANS YOUR OFFER WAS AT LEAST 6.25% HOIGHER THAT THE OFFERS. 14. LET ME CLARIFY THAT YOU NEVER DID MATCH ANY OF THE OTHER DEALER PRICES ( WITH MSRP DISCOUNTS ) THAT I HAD GOT. SO PLEASE DO NOT TRY TO MIS-STATE THE FACTS THAT I CAN DOCUMENT 14. I ATTEMTED TO UPDATE MY COMMENTS REVIEW AFTER YOUR CALL TO ME BY ADVISING -- THAT YOU HAD CALLED ME TO APOLOSIZE FOR THE MIS-TREATMENT OF YOUR STAFF ( 3 HRS WASTED WITH ONLY ONE OFFER) AND INCLUDING NOT RETURNING MY TRADE IN CAR KEYS IMMEDIATELY WHEN I ASKED FOR THEM BACK AS DID NOT WANT TO ACCEPT THE RIDICULAOUS MARKET ADJUSTMENT ETC. INCUDING YOUR DCEITPFUL MARKETING TACTICS OF FALSE AND INCORRECT ADVIERTTISING ON YOUR WEBSITE; AND ALSO NOT EVEN HAVING THE COURTESY OF LETTING ME KNOW WHERE YOUR STAFF HAD TAKEN AND PARKED MY TRADE IN CAR AFTER THE INSPECTION ( A LOT FURTHER FORM THE ENTRANCE ) INSPITE OF MY FRACTURED LEFT HANDF AND LEFT KNEE. NOTE 1 ;:- NOW AFTER YOUR THIS RESPONSE I AM MORE CONVINCED THAT THIS HONDA OF DENTON DEALRSHIP IS NOT ONE THAT I WOULD RECOMMEND NOR DEAL WITH AS IT DOES NOT SEEM TO BE SINCERE WITH A FOCUS ON CUSTOMER SERVICE AND ALSO NOT TRANSPARENT ON THEIR WEBSITE. EACH CUSTOMER CAN DECIDE FOR THEMSELVES. MY COMMNETS ARE BASED ON MY DOCUMENTED EXPERIENCE. NOTE 2;- I HAVE BOUGHT THE CAR FORM ANOTYHER DEALERSHIP AT THE $12,800 NET CASH PRICE - AFTER ALL COSTS- AS I FOUND THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE FOCUS IMPECCABLE ( ALBEIT $200 MORE THAT ANOTHER DEALER DOCUMENTED PRICE). AND NO MARKET MARK BUT A DISCOUNT TO THE MSRP LIST PRICE AND THE FULL TRADE IN KELLY BLUE BOOK CASH PRICE

The website forced me to choose an employee and none of the people we worked with were an option. The sales experience was fine, other than being grossly over-charged on top of negotiating down $3000. There was a middle age black lady who stuck us with a warranty we didn’t approve or sign for.
