Our fourth Honda from this dealership. Although I love my new car and the salesman did a good job, I was, as the British would say, obstacles when it came to doing the financing. I thought I was going to pay my $1000 down payment only to find out they wanted $5k+ it did get reduced some but was never told up front…a little dirty pool I thought. I also left without any paperwork. Hopefully this will be rectified!! More
It was confirmed why I dont take my CRV to dealer for service. So I decided to take my car in for oil change because I had a coupon. I made appointment and there I went. 1. I was in waiting for maybe 5-10 min and I get call from Honda od Fort myers. I assume it was gonna be service rep, nope it was finance dept wanting to look over my car and see about getting me new one. The gentlemen came over I let him no I'm not interested in selling my vehicle. He was like but you said yes. No I didn't your caller told me you were talking to everyone in service department and what I had on so you could find me. I have ignored many many many emails trying to discuss bringing my car in for upgrade. But you didn't get the hint. 2. My tech texted me telling me id get a text with video of inspection and save # for updates. I NEVER got that video of inspection and never got an update. My rep came to me when I texted the # asking for update. Of course he says he was on his way over to discuss. 3. They tried to get me to do over $900 worth the work on my vehicle. 1 oil change 2. Transmission fluid change 3. Brake fluid change. I told him that wasn't happening today and just wanted the oil change with my coupon. 4. I took my car because a piece fell off my vehicle and i thought bringing it to dealer they would be like hey this piece is hanging off and you need this piece to put back together. Guess what the service department never mentioned. It's not like you could miss it if you were under my vehicle it's very obvious and makes scraping noise from hanging. So in that $900 estimate how did you not get a piece that is so obvious it probably hit mechanic in face. Is it because that piece was only worth $70 and not worth labor. 5. How did i get an email on Tuesday when my appointment was on Saturday that I missed my appointment and to call to reschedule. Your finance guys knew I was in the building, they called me. Honda owners: This is a Warning for Honda owner that use or will use Honda of FT. Myers service Department. I purchase my car from Honda of FT. Myers, a 2018 Honda Accord Sport. I have been taking my car to or will use Honda of FT. Myers service Department. I purchase my car from Honda of FT. Myers, a 2018 Honda Accord Sport. I have been taking my car to Honda of FT. Myers for service since them. On the last three years I have noticed some change on service. Remember, dealers charge more than a regular car service shop, including parts and labor. What it gets to me is the amount of service charges they are including on the bill. High miscellanies charges, and a 3% credit card fee. Honda of FT. Myers send me promotional flyers with specials and discounts. Unfortunately, on my last two visit I noticed the following: first one, took my car for oil change special. I make the appointment for a special of $29.95 that show on their web page. When finish, I receive a bill for $49.95 plus tax and misc. Fee plus 3 % credit card charge. After complaint, they make the adjustment for the $29.95. On my second try, I make an appointment for balancing and rotation using a flyer with a $20.00 off from to $149.95. When the bill came, again, the bill was for $189.95. The customer service rep stated the price went up. Even when I show the flyer, they did not advise me of any price change or any additional charges. They also charge me $17.99 misc. Fee and when ask the rep stated was for the use of the machine. I thought that was included in the price of the balancing and rotation. Also get hammer with a 3% credit card fee. DO NOT TRUST this dealer service department. Use of trick advertisement to take your service. Ask first of any charges, surcharges and fees before the service is rendered. Personally, I will NOT take any of my two Honda for service there. Also, on my last two visit I requested service for a recall, they never put it on the system, never replace the part. More
