My infotainment center started to randomly pushing buttons on its own and the touchscreen didn't work at times so I took it in to have fixed. I took my car in on June 1st and received a text on Friday buttons on its own and the touchscreen didn't work at times so I took it in to have fixed. I took my car in on June 1st and received a text on Friday stating my car is fixed and ready to get picked up. When I went to get it and handed the keys, I noticed the screen didn't work. I told Honda and they took it to the back to do a reset. I was given my keys a second time and I was told it was good to go, so I drove down the street and the screen stopped working. I took it back and the service manager took it to the back to get it checked out a third time and he told me your car is good to go. I drove all the way to my house and the screen stopped working again. I took it back and the service manager said I need another new part. I paid nearly $700 for parts in labor and my car wasn't fixed. I'm thinking the part that was originally on my car was good and Honda didn't fix the correct issue. The service manager told me it's multiple parts that could be bad but I know have zero trust on what that dealership tells me. This whole ordeal could've been avoided if the mechanic and service manager actually tested my car before telling me it was fixed and handed me the keys. I honestly feel that I paid for parts and service on something that was never broken and now I have to go back to Honda of Fort Worth and pay more cash for parts and service on the correct damaged part. Thank God I didn't get a brake job done at this dealership! More
