Rich Buyer beware. Very deceptive practices! Purchased a 2012 Honda CRV from this dealership on 7/31/15. The car was very nice. Only has 21000 miles with a few minor dings and scratches. When Purchased a 2012 Honda CRV from this dealership on 7/31/15. The car was very nice. Only has 21000 miles with a few minor dings and scratches. When we went to sign the paperwork did not realize that they added over $1,500 in charges that were for supposedly internet fees and I don't remember what else after we asked several times about the cost of the vehicle and thought it would be what we saw on cars.com Beware if you buy from this dealership as they don't even explain all the costs to you. Did not have any trouble selling the car to us. The finance manger was a nice guy but a fraud. I know we were the last deal of the day late on a Friday night, but they obviously didn't care about anything except making the sale for the end of the month. I will not spend one more cent at this dealership as I will take my service to Hamilton Honda! Also, it took them almost the full month to call us to say the title and tags had come in. Never called us about a passenger side tail light that was negotiated in the sale to replace. I had to call them for them to tell me that they would order it and were confused about what part they had to order. Would have thought that they would have contacted us if that were the case! More
Poor Business Etiquette Went in knowing exactly what I wanted to look at and test drive. If I liked it, I was planning on leaving with a car that day, paying CASH. Afte Went in knowing exactly what I wanted to look at and test drive. If I liked it, I was planning on leaving with a car that day, paying CASH. After browsing the showroom, I was never approached by a sales specialist. Instead my fiancé, was approached, introduced, and spoken to. As for myself, I was left standing there on the side lines as if I was invisible. After my fiancé told the sales associate it was not he who was purchasing the car and would have no say in the matter, I was give an "oh" and a quick "hi." Coming from a corporate business world, I expect a polite introduction and a handshake (not a limp girly hand grab). Handshakes say a lot about a person. After the awkward introduction and looking the car over, I wasn't thrilled with the body style. Before probing to find out about what I wanted exactly and perhaps some alternatives, I was spoken over and found it hard to get a word in edge wise. I was told he "knew exactly what I wanted" and "would make me an offer I couldn't refuse." Two key phases that just scream typical car salesman. I ended up leaving with out test driving anything because they couldn't locate "the guy" with the key and waiting around was just way too long. Upon attempting to leave, the associate was practically begging for me to stay, whining "what can I do to get you to buy today" and kept running to the manager's office to only come out saying the same old thing. Perhaps he was new and asking advice on how to land a sale, but it was awkward that he kept disappearing and we were left standing there wondering why he needed to step away. Ultimately, it became uncomfortable and I walked out the door while he was still talking. Later that day, I received a call inquiring about my interest in a Honda. I was surprised since I never gave my number, only email. I emailed the woman to request my preference of contact as email only and to ask how my phone number was obtained. I never received a respond. All in all, I went down the road to a different dealer and completed my purchase elsewhere. I am disappointed with the lack of respect and training needed to secure a business deal. Advise: Train your associates on business etiquette and avoid typical car salesman lingo. More

I went in there uncertain and with little hope of getting the car I wanted. My goal was to get myself an SUV and not to be in tremendous debt. I assumed that all I could afford was a base model CR-V or a used vehicle. Kevin was phenomenal at listening to what I wanted and he was honest and an absolute pleasure to talk with. My dream car was an EX model, and I left yesterday with that dream car because of Kevin and management working diligently to ensure that I left there beyond happy. I have visited many dealerships - Chevy, Toyota, Ford, Volkswagen, etc. and I left each one of those miserable, unable to make a deal for a car I was interested in. I always felt like I was being ripped off at the dealerships. I have never been to a dealership where there was no stress or pressure until being at this Honda dealership. The CR-V sold itself with its amazing features and I could not be happier with the entire experience where I left with a perfect car that I never thought I'd be able to afford. More

Did a lease/trade June 19, 2015, part of the deal was for them to pay for the last payment on old lease, here we are August 26 they have still not settled the debt. When this issue was taken to management, not only was I lied to but the manager was rude. He stated that he didn't have time to address the issue because he had customers... what am I? Not a customer? Unbelievable, clearly they do not understand the concept of CUSTOMER SERVICE! Lost my business and will not be coming back to this dealership again. A lesson for Honda of Freehold "NEW MANAGEMENT": Customer service is the act of taking care of the customer's needs by providing and delivering professional, helpful, high quality service and assistance before, during, and after the customer's requirements are met. Customer service is meeting the needs and desires of any customer. Some characteristics of good customer service include: Promptness: Promises for delivery of products must be on time. Delays and cancellations of products should be avoided. Politeness: Politeness is almost a lost art. Saying 'hello,' 'good afternoon,' 'sir', and 'thank you very much' are a part of good customer service. For any business, using good manners is appropriate whether the customer makes a purchase or not. Professionalism: All customers should be treated professionally, which means the use of competence or skill expected of the professional. Professionalism shows the customer they're cared for. More
The sales manager, Bob, lied to me I spoke with Corinna Vega,,the business development representative, and told her that I have a 2013 Honda Accord with 6 months left to my 3 year, 36k I spoke with Corinna Vega,,the business development representative, and told her that I have a 2013 Honda Accord with 6 months left to my 3 year, 36k mile lease. I explained that I have 57k miles (21k miles) over the allowable mileage and I still have 6 more payments left of $225 each month. I told her the condition of this car and asked her if it would be possible to get out of this lease without paying the remaining payments and the over mileage if I purchased a new Honda CRV EXL. I said I wanted to pay the $28k price that the Edmunds site quoted. She said I would have to bring the Accord into the dealership to have it appraised. I went to the dealership and explained my situation to the sales manager, Bob. He said he would do an appraisal on the car and let me know if he could make the deal. After the appraisal he said he would be willing to do the deal exactly as I had explained it to him as long as I picked out the car that was in-stock. After I picked out the colors, he said that I misunderstood him and that the new price would have $4500 added to it since he was losing that amount to get me out of the lease. I could lease the new car at $557/month if I wanted. I told him that he lied to me and that I would leave him negative feedback. More

No amount of savings that they advertise will prepare you for the absolutely horrific, incompetent, rude, could care less attitude, service you will experience once you purchase your car from them. From top management down the attitude and incompetance is unlike I have ever experienced. From issuing the title in the wrong name and telling us to then fix it ourselves, 9 phone calls and emails later, got the general manager to agree to fix it. But with a major attitude to match. More than 2 months later, still don't have the corrected title. When trying to schedule service for an oil change, I was told I had an appointment. When calling to re-confirm, trying to get through, calling 6 times, they said the person never made the appointment to begin with. When we reported that the seal on the driver side is broken the technician said, "there is nothing we can do about it. I have the same car and have the same problem. I feel your pain". He continued to say that, 'others have reported the same issue but there is nothing we can do about it". He refuses to even take a look at it. Save yourself, go somewhere else and avoid this deanship entirely. If you are their client report your experience to the Honda headquarters. More
