I brought my Civic in for an oil change and overall check up. I was surprised when I picked up my car and was told the tires were all in the green range. When I mentioned that I was surprised that the tires were in better shape than last time after being driven another 10,000 miles, Denis defended the tech saying that different techs measure tread depth differently. I don't think so!! When I brought the car to another mechanic, he showed me that my rear tires were very low tread and that the left rear had a section that was completely bald. Purchased a car that was used, but is certified according to the dealer at the beginning of June. After leaving a lot of the day, I purchased the car. I noticed the windshield was chipped to places. Called u to the dealer at the beginning of June. After leaving a lot of the day, I purchased the car. I noticed the windshield was chipped to places. Called upon reaching home and was told I could bring it in and they would repair it. Came in the following workday and was told that the car had been that way and that had had been originally fixed by them and that I shouldn’t worry that the two chips in the windshield would never break also noticed a scrape in the windshield. Had to go back to the dealer the following week, as I was receiving a dashboard notification saying software needed to be updated, and I had to do it at the dealer. Upon arriving, I mentioned the scrape in the windshield and was assured that it could be washed wiped away. Waited while the car was serviced and told that the software had been updated and that the message would no longer appear. Within a mile of leaving the dealership, the message appeared again. I put a phone call into the service manager that was listed on my work order sheet and was told that even though this notification kept popping up, it really meant nothing. He advised that in order to correct it I would have to leave the car and they would have to run it through a number of software tests. I received an email from Honda corporate asking me about my purchase. When answering the survey it told me I needed to use less than 1000 words to describe my problem. I decided to call and log a complaint. Waited five days and when they called me back, they told me oh well each dealer is independent and they have no control over what they do. Have tried to speak to the service manager. I feel that the car might have a lemon problem and the windshield and software problems are just the beginning. Called again and asked to speak to a sales manager. Have not heard back. Would not recommend dealing with these people. More
