MAde a deal for a new Crosstour. Gave deposit, but no deal! Two weeks ago I entered into a sales agreement for a new Crosstour at Honda of Freehold. A $500 deposit was given by check. The deal fell through (because of the dealer, not me). I returned to the dealership to get my deposit back. A copy of the receipts was made but a check was not written. I'd have to wait a couple of days, they said. Well after more than a week, the deposit has not been returned. Calls to the Sales Manager cannot be made because of full voicemail. There does not seem to be a way to reach the General Manager. All together a very unpleasant experience. Be wary. More

The Service Department is a pleasant contrast to those of competing dealerships. This greatly influenced my decision to purchase a Honda. When I went to Phil Esposito in Sales and told him what I was looking for, he quickly found a car on the computer that matched my needs. Phil took me to inspect the car on the lot, and basically allowed it to sell itself. He did not use any pressure tactics or attempt to steer me to a more costly vehicle, but simply gave me what I asked for. I would recommend both Phil and this dealership. More

STARTED OUT AT $320.00 PER MONTH ON A NEW CAR LEASE, NO MONEY DOWN. WE WERE TURNING OUR 2012 ACCORD IN EARLY AND HADE TO ROLL THE REMAINING PAYMENTS IN TO THE NEW LEASE. WE NEGOTIATED FOR A WHILE AND EVENTUALLY ENDED UP AT ABOUT $390.00 PER MONTH WITH NO MONEY DOWN. MY WIFE AND I HAD TO CHECK OUR BUDGET AND DIDNT MAKE THE DEAL THAT NIGHT. THE NEXT DAY I SPOKE WITH THE SALES MAN AND ANFTER A FEW CALLS MY WIFE AND I AGREED TO MAKE THE DEAL FOR $390.00 AND NO MONEY DOWN. WELL NO MORE THAN 10 MINUTES AFTER AGREEING TO THE TERMS AND MAKING AN APPOINT TO COME BACK IN THE NIGHT TO SIGN PAPERS THE SALESMAN "RAJ" CALLED ME BACK TO TELL ME THE HIS MANAGES JEFF CYRIAKS NOW SAID IT WOULD BE $390.00 WITH $1,000.00 DOWN PAYMENT!!! NEEDLESS TO SAY I WAS NOT HAPPY AND I DID EXPRESS VERY CLEARLY HOW I FELT ABOUT THE DEALERSHIP AND JEFF CYRIAK'S TACTICS! I PROMISED FREEHOLD HONDA THAT NEITHER I, NOR MY FRIENDS OR FAMILY WILL EVER CONSIDER THEM FOR A HONDA AT ANY TIME. I DO NOT DIRECTLY BLAME THE SALESMAN FOR THIS ISSUE AS I KNOW THE "MANAGER" MAKES ALL THE DECISIONS AT A DEALERSHIP. SO, I BLAME JEFF CYRIAKS AND THE GENERAL MANAGER FOR THE TACTICS AND THE LIES AND DECEPTION. MY WIFE WHO IS A NURSE AND A BREAST CANCER SURVIVOR WORKS EXTREMELY HARD TAKING CARE OF PEOPLE ALL DAY AND CERTAINLY DID NOT DESERVE THIS TREATMENT. ALL I CAN SAY IS IF YOU WANT TO BE LIED TO THEN GO TO FREEHOLD HONDA AND SEE JEFF. THE NEXT NIGHT WE WENT TO HONDA UNIVERSE AND WERE TREATED LIKE PEOPLE BY DANNY THE SALESMAN AND LOUIS THE MANAGER. WE DID NEGOTIATE AND WORK NUMBERS AND VEHICLES BUT WE DID MAKE A GREAT (HONEST) DEAL ON A NEW LOADED 2014 HONDA! SO WE TURNED IN OUR 2012 HONDA AND WORKED A NEW LEASE FOR A REASONABLE MONTHLY PAYMENT WITH NO NEED FOR ANY MONEY DOWN! I DO SUGGEST HONDA UNIVERSE AND DANNY. CAR BUYING SHOULD NOT BE A GAME BUT FREEHOLD HONDA ONLY PLAYS GAMES. I HAVE ALREADY TOLD MY FRIENDS THINKING OF BUYING HONDAS TO STAY AWAY FROM THEM. More

I waited two hours at 730 am and was told my battery was fine.... car starts fine... THREE days later my car had to be towed --- the battery died and leaked onto the starter so I needed a two 40 miles from home and a new battery and a new starter. I contacted klye roth my service guy and sent pictures of the battery. I never heard back. I called to find out the Honda dealership was sold and I left message for Jerwin the service manager never heard from him today I called to find out new ownership and am awaiting a call. I have purchased many cars over the years from this dealership..... VERY DISSAPPOINTED Lisa Padula More
