I've dealt with Bill Hoblitzell while purchasing new Hondas on two separate occasions. The first, in 2008, was my first car purchase. I was nervous and didn't know a lot about the purchasing process, bu Hondas on two separate occasions. The first, in 2008, was my first car purchase. I was nervous and didn't know a lot about the purchasing process, but Bill was very willing to work with me, explained exactly how the process worked, and when I told him I would be interested in purchasing a Civic SI, but didn't know how to drive a manual. He brought me out to the lot, had me sit in one of the test-drive cars, and showed me exactly how to drive a manual, right on the lot. I decided I'd prefer an automatic, despite the lessons. The quote Honda of Freehold had given me on the Civic LX Coupe that I ended up purchasing had one small error- they quoted me the price of a Manual, rather than the Automatic that I had requested. However, Bill brought this error to my attention before I even noticed it, and told me that they would honor the price, since it was their mistake, and I'd still be able to get the Automatic. That kind of integrity is hard to come by these days. When I ended up crashing the Civic due to a reckless driver, I fully believe the car saved my life. I was so impressed with the build quality and the safety, as well as the friendliness and helpfulness of the dealer I had worked with, that I called Bill back a full 2 years later and had him help me with my next, and most recent, purchase- a brand new 2011 Accord LX-S Coupe. Bill, as well as his manager, was wonderful once again. He got me the best deal I could find on the car, and included a gift of a cargo net (~$175 value), for being a repeat customer. I still can't find a better price on the car, even after looking everywhere online. Bill was dedicated to serving me to the best of his abilities, and Honda of Freehold in general was the most customer-oriented dealerships that I have ever visited. Their sales staff isn't pushy, they don't try to sell you on the higher models if you don't want them, they just want to help you find the car that's right for you. If you know what you want before walking in to the place, they'll do everything they can to make sure it's the right fit and get you into the car at the right price. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking to purchase a safe, affordable, and fun to drive car that holds its value for years. More
I had gone into this dealership knowing that I wanted a CRV. My salesman Joe was very nice, but when the manager came over he was very rude. Thats a lot of business Freehold lost and I will never recommend anyone to go there. More
My wife and I researched our vehicle online and then requested a quote from Honda of Freehold. Since this was our second purchase here, we knew that everything would go well and we were not disappointed. Arriving for our appointment we were met by George Leondis, sales consultant, and Andrew Woolcock, New Sales Manager. The process went smoothly and it was refreshing to deal with people who are knowledgeable, professional and obviously care about their customers. There are three dealerships closer to our home, but we found the best sales experience is at Honda of Freehold. More
On October 23,2010 I visited "Honda of Freehold" dealership. We got the price quote and made an appointment via internet. Upon the arrival we met with the sales manager Steve Tancona and sales con dealership. We got the price quote and made an appointment via internet. Upon the arrival we met with the sales manager Steve Tancona and sales consultant Eres Salchak. They were very friendly and easy to talk to. The process of price negotiation went smooth and pleasant. Everybody was polite, professional and friendly. People staid after the hours to clean the car and finish the paper work. After everything was done Eres gave us all the documentation and the keys for the car. It was real late, but he thoroughly explained and showed us all the functions of our new car in order to make sure we get home safe. We are very grateful to the staff of the dealership for helping us to buy our new car and made this experience pleasant and stress free. More
When I first go to Honda it was our fourth stop and I'd been very upset and frustrated with the other cars I looked at. In addition, it was late in the day so I was pretty hungry and starting to get cranky been very upset and frustrated with the other cars I looked at. Evelyn greeted us with a smile and was very patient as I went back and forth deciding which car to test drive, knowing I wouldn't be ready to sign anything due to my current lease not expiring for another 6 weeks. When we test drove the car I was very surprised by how comfortable I felt in my car. Even after seeing how pleased I was with the car, Evelyn put on no pressure at all. As expected, we had to meet with the manager, Andrew, before leaving and he was the exact same way as Evelyn. He came over and chatted for a few minutes and suggested we meet later in the week to evaluate my current lease and see if we could work anything out. Evelyn even came in on her vacation day. It was a great pleasure to have a manager that didn't pressure me to stay in the building. He was confident enough in his employees and his product that he didn't need to pressure me and i GREATLY appreciated that. More
