I asked for a quote for 2009 Honda Odyssey EX and Phil Ruiz sent one via email within 2 hours. They further clarified the final price including TTL, tax etc which was my final price. I got an appt. for next day and the vehicle was ready for the test drive when I visited them. Ron Teplitzky who guided me through the entire process went over the features twice, once during test drive and finally when we were about to drive off their lot back home just to make sure my wife also understands everything very clearly. He even set me up for the first service appt for oil change on a Saturday. The finance manager David Hoffman put together the entire transaction including Financing very quickly and was very cooperative and understanding when I refused a few extra offers. The entire process was done fairly quickly with no pressure to buy extra options, deals etc. Ron called me a few times in the subsequent weeks to see if we have any issues, questions on anything which was very, very nice. Every one was very professional, courteous and friendly. I was very surprised that I bought such a nice vehicle in a very simple way absolutely hassle-free from beginning to end. After receiving the three quotes, I then quoted Honda of Freehold whose internet offer was about $400 lower than the closest competitor. The next day we were at the dealership. When my wife, daughter and I walked in, we were pleasantly greeted by the Sales Manager, Anthony Lanzaro. He directed us to Justine, a sales consultant. She offered something to drink while we discussed and hopefully completed the transaction. This was a most pleasent auto buying experience, not only for myself but my wife and daughter, too. As my thirteen year old daughter later put it "Justine is cool and is my new facebook friend". I am a Purchasing Manager, been one for 20+ years. I deal with sales personnel each and every day. Justine ranks very high on professionalism, product knowledge and just everyday friendliness. Justine showed a real interest and bent over backwards to make sure we were happy with the deal before it was closed. Even the customary hard sell of warranty,by Dave was not so. We need a minivan for our growing family and Honda is the #1 in this market. The online quote was quick and in honest details, sales were friendly and helpful in making the deal, and all paper work was done very quickly. No pressure at all, we felt completely free to choose colors, to decide on financing terms or cash payment and/or charge on credit card, and to go with or without warranties or accessories. The decent site with plenty of inventory, the professional sales team, their customer focus, and the hassle free transactions made us feel very comfortable and confident to sign the deal with them. Within 2-3 hours, we were all set and ready to drive the new van out the door. And we are happy that we paid fairly low price on this decent minvan, even though we drove a long way of 70 miles to get this deal. We drove it around and enjoyed it so much in the weekend. Will update the post-purchase experience after we get our title/plates and drive it out for our summer vacation.
