Overpriced crooks in service department I just purchased a new Honda from this place in 2017. Everytime I have been their for service these crooks in the service department add on some kind I just purchased a new Honda from this place in 2017. Everytime I have been their for service these crooks in the service department add on some kind of repair and charge a ridiculously high amount of moeny July 2018 they were charging $226 for battery test and tire repair and air filter change. Ridiculously overinflated price from these crooks. December 2018 not even one year after getting this car new, they said I needed tires alignment and battery, wipers, brake fluid and fuel injection service. They were wanting to charge $730. This car is barely a year old with only $30k miles and they pulled this crap on us. Just in one and half years I am looking at $1000 costs for service for a new car!! June 2019 just for a 30k service they charging $496. I had to pay $500 for a $30k mile tune up. Totally ridiculous!!! Today November 2019 I went for a oil change and again just 5 months after 30k mile tune up the pulled out a $386 bill for brakes. In the 2 years that I have this new Honda car from this dealership I have paid over $2000 in service costs. I would not reccomend these thieves to anyone. They overcharge and inflate all of their service costs. Save your money and don't go to these thieves for any service!!!! More
Very dishonest dealership I had trouble opening the rear hunch back door of my Honda Odyssey 2016. I went to this dealership and left the car to them. They called me and told I had trouble opening the rear hunch back door of my Honda Odyssey 2016. I went to this dealership and left the car to them. They called me and told me that there is a piece of rope left in the car that caused the problem and it will cost me $200 to have it fixed. I said no because the vehicle was only occasionally driven and I had never used any rope on this vehicle. Then I was told that it will cost me $150 to put everything back. I told them just leave it. I went to the dealership and asked to see that piece of rope. I was told that they have not taken the rope out yet. Eventually they produced a piece of oily rope for which I never used anywhere in my house. I took my car to a different dealer and it was diagnosed that the bad electric panel on the door caused the problem. They ordered the part and replaced it free of charge (under the warranty). I will never go to Honda of Freehold! More
Excellent service department I took my 25 year old Honda Civic with >110 K miles to a local service provider for a routine timing belt and water pump change with a poor outcome wh I took my 25 year old Honda Civic with >110 K miles to a local service provider for a routine timing belt and water pump change with a poor outcome which could not be corrected by the efforts of another local repair shop, apparently due to difficulties diagnosing the cause of the problem. This was only diagnosed and corrected by the excellent and successful efforts of Mike Chirichello and his colleagues at Honda Freehold after which the car recovered it's original vitality. Many thanks for their skillful efforts. Highly recommend. More

Bad Customer Service Had a bad experience when I called to schedule an appointment to fix the engine of my vehicle (under warranty and purchased from Honda of freehold). E Had a bad experience when I called to schedule an appointment to fix the engine of my vehicle (under warranty and purchased from Honda of freehold). Each employee kept transferring me to the his/her coworker FIVE times and the last person transferred me to his voicemail. Each time I had to explain my problem allover again. Nobody wanted to help. I left a voicemail, and nobody called back. I guess warranty is not something like to hear. More

The jerk that hit me (and left) did so with such force that my rear view camera was shoved up into its assembly casing. While the camera still operated, It needed to be pried out of its current position in order to be operable. At first I was told by Service that it could not be looked at that day for a few hours and then might not be able to be repaired and might need replacement. Since I thought it might just be able to be flipped with some strong muscle and a screwdriver, I asked if someone could help me out right there and then. Sal came to the rescue! As the Director, he was called by the intake rep to take a look at my problem. Hearing my dismay and with tons of compassion for my situation, he used his strength and a tool to pull the camera back out to its normal position. Having finished that, he noticed that the bumper paint was damaged slightly as well. My hero left and returned moments later with a container of matching paint and took the time to do what he could to conceal the damage. I appreciated his help so much — I thought the situation was going to ruin my Christmas, but thanks to Sal I will be enjoying the holidays. More
