Great Customer Service I was in need of reliable transportation after my car unexpectedly broke down, and was not worth repairing. I stopped in to see their inventory and talked with Renee about the Certified Pre Owned vehicle program. I looked at a couple cars, and planned to come back later that night with my wife. They had a huge selection of certified pre-owned Honda Civics, and their prices were significantly lower than any of the other dealerships in the area. I ended up driving home a great car the same night, and have been perfectly happy with it. Renee was helpful and straight forward, and made the whole experience enjoyable. I highly recommend. More
KNOWINGLY sold a car to a man with a current TBI! They sold a car to my husband whom I was with when I test drove the car, told the entire story of my husbands accident and current condition a Traumat They sold a car to my husband whom I was with when I test drove the car, told the entire story of my husbands accident and current condition a Traumatic Brain Injury, that in NO way was he able or allowed to drive or make any decisions regarding the purchase unattended. They called my husband the next day to arrange a sale, they came to our house to pick him up, drove him to the dealership, sold it to him at an OUTRAGEOUS price, drove him home and handed him the keys. ALL while I was at work, unaware, untold about the deal. The salesperson, and the Sales manager knew when I was there, that he has a traumatic brain injury and is NOT allowed to do this on his own. Yet, they felt that he was "cognizant enough" that they made the deal with him. Well sir, 5 Neurologists would beg to differ with you. When I questioned the outlandish transaction, no responsibility was taken, no words of remorse, only "well, we can cancel the deal if you'd like:" While it was not ideally what I wanted to do in this situation as we needed a car that could hold our entire family, they would NOT budge on the price and/or interest rate, they were condescending and the opposite of "family friendly and compassionate" as their GM stated they are. They again when returning the car, disregarded my requests and tried to do all of this while I was away at work. I am sad that ANY company that claims family oriented could treat a customer this way. It was KNOWN that my husband should not have made this deal on his own, nor been handed the keys to a car by himself. More
Amazing Experience I purchased two cars from Mike Dalpeno in two weeks time. He was attentive without being intrusive. Very willing to let me walk around and look without being my shadow. What started to be a purchase of a 2015 Civic turned into a purchase of a 2016 Accord. Both shopping and buying was a pleasure. I went back a week later to purchase the Civic for my spouse. Turns out there was an error with the odometer and paperwork that no one noticed until we went to pick the car up. With my goal to drive away with a car off we went back to the lot. A comparable, slightly more expensive with less miles than what we initially agreed upon was found. Mike discussed this with the manager of Used Cars , explained the situation, and that I just bought a 2016 accord the week before. He wanted us to get the car for the same quoted price. The manager agreed and we had a deal. They did not ask for a certified check but simply a personal check and both purchases were very easily done. Mike made sure we knew how to pair the phones, understand the dashboard and went the extra mile, His comment resonated with me with a message stating they are a smaller store than surrounding dealerships and they do not want to "sell" a car to someone only to have the customer go elsewhere. I was sold! We purchased a Civic years ago from them and I will recommend them highly to anyone. Few enjoy dealing prices for cars and the car buying experience is something I have to be ready to deal with, No qualms and no frustration with Honda of Lisle. Thank you for making it such a pleasure to purchase the cars. More
A good experience I saw a car that I was interested in on Cars.com and e-mailed the Internet sales person Meaghan Reilley. Response was quick, and told me that the car I saw a car that I was interested in on Cars.com and e-mailed the Internet sales person Meaghan Reilley. Response was quick, and told me that the car was sold that day. She mentioned she will check with the Inventory manager and got back to me the same day stating that there is another car that I wanted coming into the store. She called me that night and told me what their procedure for trading in a car. I made an appointment on Sat. morning for appraisal. Mike Harvey was the sales person assigned to me. He was very nice and respectful. While my car was was being appraised, Mike had me test drove a similar car. After that he gave me the figures, and I mentioned that I didn't like the trade in value they gave me. I gave them a number, and the Sales manager worked it out with me. Mike got all my paper work done ahead of time so when I pick up my car everything would be quick. The two days I was in the dealership, the total time I spent was only 3 hours, which is unheard of these days. They were very quick and responsive. More

We buy a new car every other year, and have a process which includes shopping around, not only for the best price but also for a dealership that actually listens to our needs. Meaghan and Joshua did just that. We wanted to be in and out without wasting time or trying to be sold on additional options. We are no nonsense and direct (which I realize can be rude, but we don't want our time or someone else's wasted, especially after dealing with multiple dealerships and sales staff). Not only were they responsive prior to our arrival, they did what they said they would do when we arrived at the dealership. We actually were scheduled to purchase at another dealership, however, the other sales team (i) did not respond timely; (ii) called incessantly (we prefer email); and (iii) refused to provide final pricing (including tax, tags, licensing, etc.). Meaghan respond almost immediately after our email; and provided an answer to every one of questions and requests. Joshua was there immediately upon arrival and had a sense of urgency in getting the paperwork completed, for which we were truly appreciative (especially having 3 small children with us). We truly cannot express our gratitude for their service and would highly recommend them. Obviously we cannot speak for the rest of the team at Honda of Lisle, but Joshua and Meaghan have two new loyal customers; and if they are any reflection of the rest of the staff, we will not be purchasing from another dealership. More
