Alternator Problem The battery in our 2004 Honda Accord EX-L 4 Cylinder Sedan was getting drained in the hot weather. The service technician at Mahwah Honda checked the The battery in our 2004 Honda Accord EX-L 4 Cylinder Sedan was getting drained in the hot weather. The service technician at Mahwah Honda checked the electrical system and discovered that the alternator was breaking down under the load of the air conditioning, radio, and head lights. The solution was to replace the alternator, however, to locate a new alternator for a 14 year old Honda was problem. Paul Eischen checked with other Honda dealers in the area and located a replacement alternator in stock at a Honda dealer in Westchester, He had the new alternator immediately sent over to Mahwah Honda's Service Department and had the car ready by the middle of the afternoon. Mahwah Honda is the only dealership with a car club and one of the club's benefits in the use of a free loaner car while my car was in for service. Paul Eischen was able to provide a new 2018 Honda Civic Coupe as the loaner car while my 2004 Honda Accord was being serviced. More
