The presentation of the car was filthy and there were constant lies from the salesman. On the other hand, leaving Route 22 Honda and coming to Mahwah Honda was the best decision. Dave Desimone was the friendly salesman who helped me in purchasing my vehicle. His main concern was to make me, the customer, happy and see me leaving with a smile on my face with the vehicle that i had just purchased. Mahwah Honda greeted you with a friendly hello as soon as you walked in and there was someone there waiting for you to talk about the vehicle you were interested in. I drove down to Mahwah from Westchester County in pursuit of the car I really wanted. Before visiting Mahwah Honda, I would not have imagined driving an hour away to get my next oil change, but these guys are so great that I now can't imagine going anywhere else. Prior to car shopping, I spent a ton of time researching the best make and model for my families needs. I wanted to make sure 1) I didn't make any rash decisions 2) I'd nailed down a good deal. I test drove a decent amount of cars at other dealerships prior to seeing Harry and I was disappointed most with how the salesmen were trying to cover up problems with the vehicles. For example, one dealership tried to "air out" the car before I got there, so I wouldn't smell the cigarette smoke when I test drove it. With Harry, I immediately felt a level of trust. He was easy going and wasn't afraid to point out problems and never tried to cover them up. He went out of his way to meticulously point out every feature the car had to offer and make sure I tried everything out to make sure each feature worked. When I brought my wife to pick up the car that I had purchased, he again went through the entire car to bring her up to speed and make her feel comfortable. Most salesman just hand you the keys and say congrats, so yeah, I'd say he went out of his way to make sure we are happy with the purchase. For someone who loathes purchasing cars, he made it a pleasant experience and I look forward to sending my friends & family his way in the future for repeat business. Thanks again Harry!! More
